Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention detail systems, computer program products, and methods for providing a call indicator tool. In an exemplary embodiment the system presents, on the display of a video conference apparatus, a call indicator widget linked with a video conference communication session. The call indicator widget may include (i) at least one selectable feature and (ii) at least one label for presenting information to the customer via the call indicator widget. Through user input the system may receive an indication that the customer selected the at least one feature, and in response to receiving the indication, alter the display to present information related to the selectable feature.
Abstract:
Methods, systems, and computer-readable and executable instructions for managing a voicemail system are described herein. One method for managing a voicemail system includes receiving a call log from a voicemail box subscribed to a voicemail management system, identifying metadata associated with the call log from the voicemail box, identifying one or more criteria within the metadata based on a request for a report, and generating a report using the one or more criteria within the metadata associated with the call log from the voicemail box to manage the voicemail system.
Abstract:
In one embodiment, a method includes displaying, by a participant processor on a display device and during an online conference, a list of invited participants of the online conference. The list includes a declining one of the invited participants whom declined to participate in at least a part of the online conference. The method also includes indicating, by the participant processor on the display device and for the one of the invited participants whom declined to participate, a message having a reason for declining.
Abstract:
A mobile terminal having a push-to-talk (PTT) function, including: a controller that, upon detection of an operation for terminating a predefined call mode, maintains the predefined call mode for a period of predefined time, and terminates the predefined call mode upon elapse of the period; a display that displays remaining time to termination of the predefined call mode; and a remaining time changer that, upon detection of an operation for changing the remaining time, changes the remaining time according to the operation for changing the remaining time.
Abstract:
Systems, methods and computer readable media for persistent conversations are described. In some implementations, a method can include receiving a communication message sent from a first user to at least one other user, and generating a persistent conversation object having a conversation content section and conversation state information. The method can also include storing the communication message in the conversation content section of the persistent conversation object, and forwarding the communication message to the at least one other user. The method can further include updating the conversation state information to reflect the receiving, storing and forwarding of the communication message.
Abstract:
A method includes presenting, at a called communication device, first location information corresponding to a first location of a caller communication device. The first location information is presented before an incoming communication is answered. The method also includes presenting, at the called communication device, second location information in response to the incoming communication being answered. The second location information corresponds to a second location of the called communication device.
Abstract:
Presented herein are techniques to improve content sharing in online conference meetings/sessions. A first request is received from a first attendee device participating in an online meeting. The first request includes information indicating/describing a first particular region of shared content being presented by a presenter device during the online meeting, to be magnified at the first attendee device. Magnified image data for the first particular region is generated from uncompressed image data for the shared content based on the information contained in the first request. The magnified image data for the first particular region is sent for display at the first attendee device.
Abstract:
For processing call center data, an access module (320) receives call system data for a plurality of users. The access module (320) further receives customer relationship management (CRM) data and receives user data for the plurality of users. A display module (325) displays the call system data, the CRM data, and the user data in a temporal relationship for a first user as dashboard data (200).
Abstract:
A method and system for presenting interactive information about a party in a telecommunication call are provided. The party may be a calling party or a called party. Providing interactive information may include identifying a party in a telecommunication call and receiving interactive information about the party. The received interactive information may be combined with user data to form combined interactive information. The combined interactive information may be displayed to a user. A user-action relating to the displayed combined interactive information may be received and an operation corresponding to the user-action may be performed. Providing interactive information may include determining if the user data is needed by analyzing the interactive information. The interactive information may include events, and the user data may include the user's schedule. The combining may correlate the events with the schedule and creates a set of user-actions based on the correlation.
Abstract:
A network device receives battery status signals for multiple mobile devices and receives a notification of an incoming call from a calling device to a particular mobile device. The network device determines if a battery status, from the battery status signals, is available for the particular mobile device and provides, to the calling device, a challenge to solicit a categorization of the incoming call as important or not important when a battery status is available for the particular mobile device. The network device receives, from the calling device, a response to the challenge, wherein the response includes the categorization of the incoming call. The network device connects the incoming call from the calling device to the particular mobile device when the categorization of the incoming call is important.
