Abstract: The present invention relates to a foaming composition comprising: (a) at least one cationic polysaccharide; (b) at least one crosslinker having three or more acid groups or salt thereof; (c) at least one oil; and (d) at least one physiologically acceptable volatile medium, wherein the amount of the (c) oil(s) in the composition is 10% by weight or more, preferably 15% by weight or more, and more preferably 20% by weight or more, relative to the total weight of the composition. The composition according to the present invention can form a foam which is stable over time.

Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosed subject matter provide a device that may have a first depositor that includes one or more delivery apertures surrounded by one or more exhaust apertures, where the one or more delivery apertures and the one or more exhaust apertures are enclosed within a perimeter of a boss that protrudes from a substrate-facing side of the one or more delivery apertures. The delivery channels for the one or more delivery apertures and exhaust channels for the one or more exhaust apertures may be routed orthogonally to each other. The one or more delivery apertures may be configured to permit jets of delivery gas pass through a lower surface of the first depositor. The lower surface of the first depositor may include the one or more exhaust apertures to remove surplus vapor from a delivery zone. Embodiments may also provide a method of forming a print head.

Abstract: The invention relates to a device for producing special effect fog, in particular in the field of stage technology, comprising fog generator (1) which is equipped with a heating element, wherein a fog fluid is evaporated by means of the heating element, and at least one ultrasonic vaporizer (5) which is arranged in a housing (2) on the bottom (3) of a main mixing chamber (4), wherein the fog which is generated by the fog generator (1) can be conducted into the main mixing chamber (4), and wherein, furthermore, a baffle wall (7) is provided in the main mixing chamber (4) close to an outlet opening (6). In addition, a pre-mixing chamber (8) is provided, into which an air stream which is generated by a fan (9) and the fog which is generated by the fog generator (1) can be introduced via respective access openings (14, 15). The pre-mixing chamber (8) is connected by means of a transfer opening (10) to the main mixing chamber (4), wherein the transfer opening (10) is arranged in the main mixing chamber (4) so as to lie opposite the baffle wall (7).

Abstract: A foaming component for use in a foaming liquid dispenser, and an insert arranged so that it may be inserted into a liquid dispenser comprising the foaming component. The foaming component comprises a liquid chamber; an air chamber; a sparging component, which comprises a sparging interface and a foaming region; an exit aperture; and a pumping mechanism. The pumping mechanism is arranged such that it can transfer liquid from the liquid chamber directly to the foaming region, and air from the air chamber to the foaming region, via the sparging interface. The forcing of air through the sparging interface causes bubbles to form in the liquid located in the foaming region, resulting in a foamed mixture for dispensing. The pumping mechanism is then used to transfer the foamed mixture from the sparging component through the exit aperture, wherein the sparging interface is arranged such that at least a portion of the foaming region is positioned in between opposing surfaces of the sparging interface.

The injecting assemblies each comprises a fluid outlet; a base plate through which extends the fluid outlet; a holding structure mounted to the base plate and extending downstream therefrom, and a unibody jet-fragmenting device mounted to the holding structure facing the stream of fluid exiting the fluid outlet.

Abstract: An example method that includes receiving a first geometry of a component in an uncoated state and a second geometry of the component in a coated state; determining a first difference between the second geometry and a first simulated geometry based on the first geometry and a first spray law comprising a plurality of first spray law parameters; iteratively adjusting at least one first spray law parameter to determine a respective subsequent spray law; iteratively determining a respective subsequent difference between the second geometry and a subsequent simulated geometry based on the first geometry and the subsequent respective spray law; selecting a subsequent spray law from the respective subsequent spray laws based on the respective subsequent differences; and controlling a coating process based on the selected subsequent spray law.
