Abstract:
A network switching device includes at least two stacking ports, each stacking port being connectable via a stacking cable to a stack including at least one external network switching device. The device further includes an internal communication medium coupled to the stacking ports and capable of transmitting a frequency division multiplexed signal between the stacking ports. The device further includes a network switch and an interface to enable communication between the network switch and the internal communication medium. The interface includes a parallel coupling to the internal communication medium such that a signal with one carrier frequency being communicated between the network switch and the internal communication medium does not interfere with transmission between the two stacking ports of a signal with a different carrier frequency.
Abstract:
Power is shared between network devices through a power cable having a first connector at a first end thereof and a second connector at a second end thereof. The first connector comprises a first connection portion for connection with a power sharing connector of a network device and a second connection portion for connection with a connector of another power cable. The second connector comprises a first connection portion for connection with a power sharing connector of a network device and a second connection portion for connection with a connector of another power cable.
Abstract:
A motorcycle including a frame, an engine mounted to the frame, two wheels mounted for rotation to the frame with at least one of the wheels operably coupled to the engine, a rack coupled to the frame, and a storage case. The storage case including a body and a latch. The body defining a cavity and an opening that provides access to the cavity, and the body including a base that has a recess shaped to receive a portion of the rack. The latch is movably coupled to the base and is movable between an open position that provides access to the recess, and a closed position that inhibits access to the recess. The storage case is movable between an attached position where the portion of the rack is positioned within the recess and the latch is in the closed position, and a detached position where the latch is in the open position and the portion of the rack is positioned outside of the recess.
Abstract:
Glycol ether compositions useful for metal recovery by froth flotation and processes for making the compositions are disclosed. In one process, dipropylene glycol methyl ether (DPM) is propoxylated to give a composition comprising 4 to 15 wt. % of DPM and at least 20 wt. % of tripropylene glycol methyl ether (TPM). In another process, the glycol ether composition is made from a distillation residue which comprises DPM, TPM, and a basic catalyst. Extraction of the residue with water to remove some of the basic catalyst is followed by propoxylated to give a composition which comprises less than 15 wt. % of DPM, at least 20 wt. % of TPM, and one or more PO-based glycols. In comparative froth tests, glycol ether compositions of the invention meet or exceed the performance of commercial frothers.

Abstract:
A system for reducing power consumption in an electronic device comprising at least one electronic chip comprises a plurality of local access network (LAN) ports, a transceiver coupled between the LAN ports and the electronic chip, a PLA device, and a central processing unit (CPU). The CPU is configured to power off the electronic chip in response to a period of inactivity on the LAN ports and power on the electronic chip in response to a signal from the PLA device.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for communicating with a network device are provided. In this regard, a representative system, among others, includes a network switch associated with a telecommunications device; and a wireless interface device that wirelessly communicates with the network switch, the wireless interface device being configured to obtain information associated with the network switch and display at least a portion of the information obtained on a display device. A representative method, among others, for communicating with a network switch includes establishing a wireless link between the network switch and a wireless interface device; obtaining information associated with the network switch by the wireless interface device via the wireless link; and displaying at least a portion of the information obtained on a display device of the wireless interface device.
Abstract:
Methods and systems for testing an integrated circuit during an assembly process are described. The integrated circuit is received from inventory. The integrated circuit is placed in a socket on a first circuit board for system-level testing. The system-level testing is performed prior to placement and permanent attachment of the integrated circuit onto a second circuit board. Provided the integrated circuit passes the system-level testing, the placement and permanent attachment of the integrated circuit to the second circuit board is the next step following the system-level testing in the assembly process.

Abstract:
A reversible air flow fan system is described. A fan tray assembly is coupled with a chassis and a removable fan and bracket assembly that is oriented in a first direction. This removable fan and bracket assembly is configured to be removable from the fan tray assembly and being recoupled with the fan tray assembly in a second direction opposite the first direction. An air duct is coupled with and enables the exchange of air between the removable fan and bracket assembly and a first surface of the chassis. A sensor coupled with the fan tray assembly is configured for coupling with at least one bracket of the removable fan and bracket assembly when the removable fan and bracket assembly is oriented in the first direction.
