Abstract:
Slave cylinder for a pressure medium-actuated system for actuating the friction clutch of a motor vehicle, the slave cylinder including a cylinder housing, which is concentric to a transmission shaft and in which a ring-shaped piston is held, the piston being connected to a clutch-release bearing for actuation of the friction clutch. The cylinder housing is supported on a wall of the transmission to absorb the actuating forces acting on the clutch-release bearing by a mount which can absorb the wobbling movements of the cylinder housing. Wear on the guide and on the seals between the piston and the cylinder housing is reduced due to the ability of the clutch-release bearing to wobble jointly with the piston and the cylinder housing of the slave cylinder around a mount of spherical design and thus to its ability to follow the movements acting on it.
Abstract:
An electrode electrolyte system is provided that is capable of operating in slope sensors in a wide range of temperatures. The eletrolytic system is characterized by a stable conductivity at high temperature and by low toxicity. The slope sensor can be installed in a system containing an Nal solution in propylene carbonate, combined with platinum electrodes.
Abstract:
The actuation device includes a pressure medium force cylinder arrangement by means of which the friction clutch can be actuated via a release member. A measuring member of a measuring arrangement detecting an actual release is in tractive force driving engagement with an associated mating member whose position represents the actual release along a measurement path, which engagement is essentially free from play.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a composition comprising a) at least one polyolefin or vinyl polymer; b) at least one di- or poly-functional (co)polymer or (co)oligomer having a glass transition temperature of less than 10° C., wherein the functional group is a carbon-carbon double bond, an epoxy group, an amine group, a carboxylic acid group, a carboxylic acid ester group or a carboxylic anhydride group, an OH group, an SH group or an isocyanate group, and c) a multifunctional epoxide, which is different from the di- or poly-functional (co)polymer or (co)oligomer wherein the functional group is an epoxy group. The invention also relates to a method of improving the mechanical properties of polyolefins and to the polyolefin plastics articles produced thereby and to the use of di- or poly-functional (co)polymers or (co)oligomers having a glass transition temperature of less than 10° C. together with a multifunctional epoxy compound in improving the mechanical properties of polyolefins.
Abstract:
An actuating device for a friction clutch arranged in the drive train of a motor vehicle. The actuating device has a positioning servo arrangement with a pressure-medium power cylinder arrangement which acts on a disengagement bearing arrangement. There is provision, for assigning to a pressure-medium subsystem, made up of the pressure-medium power cylinder arrangement and a control valve of the positioning servo arrangement, a pressure compensating orifice which, at least when the positioning servo arrangement is in a holding state, permits a defined pressure-medium pressure compensating flow, in order to influence at least one positioning behavior of the positioning servo arrangement.
Abstract:
For controlling a motor vehicle friction clutch (3) which is operated by an actuating drive (7) during parking maneuvers, an output adjusting device (19) of the internal combustion engine (1) is unaffected over a limited initial pedal travel (.alpha..sub.0) of the accelerator pedal (17). According to the pedal position at any given time, the actuating drive (7) of the clutch (3) is controlled within the initial pedal travel. According to the pedal position and in keeping with a predetermined first signal characteristic a desired torque signal is generated and the actuating drive (7) is positioned as a function of the desired torque signal and in keeping with a predetermined second signal characteristic. In the clutch position determined by the pedal position, an actual torque signal is generated which represents the torque of the internal combustion engine (1) and it is compared with the desired torque signal. If the torque signals deviate from each other, a predetermined and appropriately directed correction factor is added and the actuating drive (7) is subsequently controlled as a function of the altered second signal characteristic.
