Abstract:
The invention relates to a nozzle for paste-like masses with a housing which has an upper shell and a lower shell which delimit an inner space that broadens from an inlet opening in the direction of nozzle openings. To apply pasty-like material onto a surface reproducibly and in a desired pattern and quantity, the nozzle openings are delimited by a replaceable replacement insert arranged between the upper shell and the lower shell, and the nozzle openings are openable or closable by a closing element movable along the outer side of the upper or the lower shell.

Abstract:
A method for solderless electrical press-fit contacting of electrically conductive press-fit pins in circuit boards include: providing a circuit board having a thickness, at least one electrical conductor path, and a contacting opening guided perpendicularly through the circuit board and having a metallized inner wall; providing an electrically conductive press-fit pin having a longitudinal axis and having a press-fit region suitable for press-fitting into the contacting opening and having a substantially round cross section; and press-fitting the press-fit pin into the contacting opening by applying onto the press-fit pin a force acting along the longitudinal axis of the press-fit pin, press-fitting being assisted by the application of ultrasound acting on the press-fit pin.
Abstract:

A system is provided for clearing modes of operation on a multicomponent medical instrument with a basic instrument (1) and at least one connectable accessory instrument (4) for the basic instrument (1). The accessory instrument (4) is equipped with a wireless, readable data memory (2) for modes of operation of the medical instrument and the basic instrument (1) has a reading unit (3) for the data memory (2). The reading unit (3), when the accessory instrument (4) is connected, reaches a sending/receiving range for reading out the data.
Abstract:
A continuous method and a heat pump device for enrichment of low-concentrated reaction mixtures resulting from the production of cycloalkanedienes by means of catalytic metathesis of cyclic aliphatic alkenes and cyclooligomers in organic reaction media with reduced energy consumption. Using the heat pump principle, liquid reaction mixtures with a content of at least 0.1 w/w % are enriched in an organic reaction medium to 30 to 50 w/w %. The organic reaction medium at temperature T1 is evaporated in an evaporator, the vapor is withdrawn and compressed to temperature T2 in a compressor, at a pressure difference of 0.25 to 1 bar. Compressed vapor of the reaction medium transfers heat energy obtained from electric energy in the heat exchanger of the evaporator to the organic reaction medium at temperature T1, and the temperature difference (T2−T1) does not exceed 12 K.

Abstract:
The active brazing solder for brazing ceramic parts of alumina, particularly of high-purity alumina, contains a maximum of 12 wt. % Ti, a maximum of 8 wt. % Be, and less than 16.5 wt. % Fe, the remainder being Zr and any impurities that may be present. The active brazing solder has the following behaviour/features: Brazing temperature: lower than 1,000° C.; the brazed joint is high-vacuum-tight over a long period of time; the coefficient of thermal expansion of the active brazing alloy is substantially identical to that of the alumina ceramic in the entire temperature range covered during the brazing process; the strength of the brazed joint between the two ceramic parts is so high that under tensile loading, fracture will result not at the joint, but in the adjacent ceramic; the pressure resistance of the active brazing solder is greater than 2 GPa; the active brazing solder is very good processable into powders having particle sizes on the order of 10 &mgr;m.
