Abstract:
In a multibeam-type image printing apparatus, a process of adjusting a beam scanning position at which a photosensitive body is scanned is simplified. More specifically, consumption of a developing agent such as toner or the like is suppressed, and the time required for the adjustment process is shortened. A test pattern is formed on the photosensitive body using the first beam out of a plurality of beams, thereby detecting the irradiation position of the first beam with respect to the photosensitive body. Correction data for all the beams are generated on the basis of adjustment data as the detection result and predetermined beam information (information indicating a relative positional relationship between the plurality of beams on the photosensitive body). Image transfer clocks and scanning start positions are set on the basis of the correction data.
Abstract:
A gas-insulated switchgear of an 1½ CB system, in which three circuit breakers are electrically connected in series between a pair of buses and a connecting line for supplying and receiving electric power is led out from between the circuit breakers, is characterized in that new connecting lines for supplying and receiving electric power are led out from the main buses through disconnecting switches to a diameter which is an end portion of the gas-insulated switchgear. A leading out side of the connecting lines is outside the main bus, and an installation area of the gas-insulated switch gear is not increased.
Abstract:
In order to print an image sensed by a digital camera using a printing apparatus for forming an image on a print medium, image data corresponding to the sensed image is converted into print data, and the converted data is transmitted to the printing apparatus, thereby providing an image processing system which can print an image sensed by the digital camera using the printing apparatus without the intervention of any computer, and a digital camera and printing apparatus suitable for the image processing system.
Abstract:
A printer emulating apparatus obtains a command signal which is outputted from a controller unit via an interface, and emulates a state of an engine unit in accordance with a notification of an elapsed time by a timer for notifying the elapse of a predetermined time and the obtained command signal. A response signal is transmitted via the interface in accordance with the emulated state of the engine unit and the obtained command signal. An image sync signal is generated to the controller unit in accordance with the emulated state of the engine unit.

Abstract:
A telephone system connected to an ISDN and a public service telephone network (PSTN) includes ISDN and PSTN interfaces and allows connected telephone sets to communicate with the both the ISDN and PSTN through a telephone apparatus main body. When the telephone apparatus main body becomes inoperative due to a power failure or the like, the ISDN or the PSTN is directly connected to one of the telephone sets. The connected telephone set receives operating power from the directly connected ISDN or PSTN, and can serve as a telephone set exclusively for the connected ISDN or PSTN.

Abstract:
A gas-insulated switch gear has a plurality of bay units having bus ducts each containing a three-phase bus and connected by bellows expansion joints. When the bay unit needs to be inspected for maintenance, the bellows expansion joints are compressed, and only the bay unit can be pulled out of the gas-insulated switchgear.
Abstract:
A telephone exchange operating on a volume controller provided with functions for inputting digitized speech data and volume control data, and converting a volume of the inputted speech data. A talker's sound inputted from a first channel has the volume converted and is outputted to a second channel for outputting a listener's sound. A volume of the speech data is converted according to a volume control data and exchanged. An augmenter for a sound level is calculated according to a reference signal sent from a first circuit to a second circuit.
