Abstract: A method is provided with a stranded mesh material blank inserted into a cavity of a tool assembly shaped to form a cushion member. Fluid is circulated above a first temperature threshold through a series of apertures defined in a forming surface of the tool assembly and into the cavity thereby softening the blank and conforming a shape of the blank to the forming surface. Fluid is circulated below a second temperature threshold through the series of apertures in the forming surface and into the cavity thereby setting the shape of the blank to the forming surface and forming a cushion member. A cushion for a seat assembly is provided by a stranded mesh material member. A system is provided with a first tool, a second tool, and one or more inlet manifolds.

A method includes covering an inner surface of a funnel with a liner comprising one or more elastic panels, wetting the liner, and forming a stranded mesh material member by extruding material from a die and through the funnel. Abstract: In at least one embodiment, a system for assessing biometric information for an occupant in a vehicle is provided. The system includes a plurality of sensors and a controller. The plurality of sensors is positioned about a main cabin of the vehicle and being configured to provide the biometric information for the occupant in response to a stimulus and to transmit a first signal indicative of the biometric information. The controller is positioned in the vehicle and is configured to activate the stimulus in the vehicle and to receive the biometric information after the stimulus has been activated. The controller is further configured to transmit the biometric information to at least one of another controller in the vehicle or to a server that is remote from the vehicle to assess the biometric information to determine the effect of the stimulus on the occupant.

Abstract: In at least one embodiment, a system is provided. The system includes a first bridge circuit, at least one transformer, a second bridge circuit, and at least one controller. The second bridge circuit includes a second plurality of switches that provides a fourth voltage. The controller is programmed to selectively activate at least one of the first plurality of switches and at least one of the second plurality of switches based on a predetermined modulation scheme, wherein the predetermined modulation scheme. The predetermined modulation scheme is based on at least a number of turns of the transformer, the predetermined modulation scheme minimizing a delay in selectively activating the first plurality of switches and the second plurality of switches.

The filament mesh structure is cooled in the mold assembly to set the shape.
