    Abstract: A method is provided with a stranded mesh material blank inserted into a cavity of a tool assembly shaped to form a cushion member. Fluid is circulated above a first temperature threshold through a series of apertures defined in a forming surface of the tool assembly and into the cavity thereby softening the blank and conforming a shape of the blank to the forming surface. Fluid is circulated below a second temperature threshold through the series of apertures in the forming surface and into the cavity thereby setting the shape of the blank to the forming surface and forming a cushion member. A cushion for a seat assembly is provided by a stranded mesh material member. A system is provided with a first tool, a second tool, and one or more inlet manifolds.

    Abstract: A climate-controlled seat including a foam portion having a recess in a surface, an air channel extending through the foam and having a first opening configured to engage with a seat ventilation system and an opposed second opening adjacent to and operatively engaging the recess; a pair of gaskets located in the recess, adjacent to and on opposite sides of the second opening, the gaskets configured to block airflow from the second opening into the laterally extending recess; and a seat trim covering the foam portion over the surface and attached to the foam portion along the recess to provide a trench in the seat trim adjacent to the recess.

    Abstract: An assembly is provided with a funnel having one or more side walls extending from an entrance to an outlet, and a liner having one or more elastic panels, with the liner extending over an inner surface of the one or more side walls. A system is provided with the assembly, a die, a fluid bath, and at least one hose to direct fluid from the fluid bath onto the liner of the assembly. A method includes covering an inner surface of a funnel with a liner comprising one or more elastic panels, wetting the liner, and forming a stranded mesh material member by extruding material from a die and through the funnel. A stranded mesh material member is provided and formed using the method.

    Abstract: A method of connecting a cable with a cable retainer may include forming a hole into a flat cable, forming a first slit into the flat cable, and/or forming a second slit into the flat cable. The first slit, the second slit, and/or the hole may define an opening. A cable retainer may include a base, a first portion connected to the base and having a first length, and/or a second portion connected to the first portion having a second length that may be greater than the first length. The method may include inserting an edge of the second portion into the opening at an oblique or right angle relative to the flat cable, and/or positioning the cable retainer such that the first portion is partially disposed in the hole and a portion of the flat cable is disposed between the base and the second portion.

    Abstract: In at least one embodiment, a system is provided. The system includes a first bridge circuit, at least one transformer, a second bridge circuit, and at least one controller. The first bridge circuit includes a first plurality of switches that receives a first voltage and provides a second voltage. The transformer provides a third voltage based on the second voltage. The second bridge circuit includes a second plurality of switches that provides a fourth voltage. The controller is programmed to selectively activate at least one of the first plurality of switches and at least one of the second plurality of switches based on a predetermined modulation scheme, wherein the predetermined modulation scheme. The predetermined modulation scheme is based on at least a number of turns of the transformer, the predetermined modulation scheme minimizing a delay in selectively activating the first plurality of switches and the second plurality of switches.
