Abstract: A method for carrying out a cryptocurrency blockchain transaction through an integrated circuit payment card using a multi-signature blockchain wallet includes: storing, in an integrated circuit of a payment card, a first private key of a first cryptographic key pair and a transaction account number; receiving, by the integrated circuit, a blockchain transaction from a point of sale device, the blockchain transaction including unspent transaction outputs, destination addresses, a cryptocurrency amount for each destination address, and a first digital signature generated using a second private key of a second cryptographic key pair; digitally signing, by the integrated circuit, the blockchain transaction using the first private key to generate a second digital signature; and transmitting, by the integrated circuit, the digitally signed blockchain transaction including the first digital signature and the second digital signature to the point of sale device.

Abstract: A system for initiating secure guest checkout includes an application server; and an untrusted user interaction device that is in communication with the application server. The untrusted user interaction device has a unique device identifier that is registered with the application server. The untrusted user interaction device is configured to: receive input data relating to a selection of one or more items; transmit, to the application server, the selection of one or more items and the unique device identifier, for creation of a cart at the application server; communicate a pairing code received from the application server, the pairing code being associated with the cart; and wirelessly broadcast identifier data including, and/or derived from, the unique device identifier; such that a computing device that receives the identifier data and the pairing code can verify the unique device identifier and retrieve the cart from the application server for initiation of a secure remote commerce (SRC) checkout process at an SRC initiator.

Abstract: Disclosed is a mobile electronic device platform for automated visual product recognition. As part of the platform, a mobile electronic device comprising a processing element and computer-readable media performs automated product-recognition processes based on input image frames received from a photographic element. The non-transitory computer-readable media may include computer-readable instructions stored thereon, the instructions instructing the processing element of the mobile electronic device to complete the following data processing steps without sending or receiving the processed data over an active data connection to any other computing device: (1) pass an input image frame of the input image frames depicting a product through a convolutional neural network stored on the computer-readable media; (2) generate a product classification for the product based at least in part on passage of the image frame through the convolutional neural network; and (3) record product metadata corresponding to the product to a record of the automated product-recognition process. The convolutional neural network may be trained through adjustment of model parameters according to the output of multiple classification arms sharing upstream convolutional features and utilize network compression and/or quantization techniques described herein, resulting in significant performance gains.

Abstract: An inventory management server is provided. The inventory management server includes at least one processor, and at least one memory. The at least one memory includes computer program code configured to cause the inventory management server at least to receive tracking data assigned to a product from a payment network, interrogate a mapping table containing assigned product to tracking data information, for the presence of the received tracking data, update an inventory database of the product stocked at the merchant inventory in response to detection of the presence of the received tracking data, and transmit acknowledgement data indicative of the inventory database update. The tracking data is transmitted by a merchant via a payment terminal in communication with the payment network.
