    Abstract: The present invention discloses a formulation comprising phagostimulants or kairomones, stabilizer, emulsifying, thickening and temperature stabilizing agents to control Tephritid fruit fly (Bactrocera cucurbitae) by attracting both male and female of all stages thereby said formulation finds a prominent place in integrated pest management, control and eradication programs of tephritid fruit flies. The process of preparation of the formulation is also disclosed in the present invention.
