Abstract:
A high-strength chain plate structure comprises an inner plate body and an outer plate body. The inner plate body has a first waist portion provided with a first receiving portion and a first outer side portion. The first outer side portion has a first slope. The first slope and the first waist portion form a continuous two-step structure. The outer plate body has a second waist portion provided with a second receiving portion and a second outer side portion. The second outer side portion has a second slope. The second slope and the second waist portion form a continuous two-step structure. The tensile strength, impact resistance and torsion resistance of the chain can be improved.
Abstract:
A link connecting structure includes two outer link plates and two inner link plates. An inner side of each outer link plate is formed with a concave portion between two first coupling portions at two ends thereof. A connecting surface is connected between each first coupling portion and the concave portion. The connecting surface is gradually tapered inward from each first coupling portion toward the concave portion. An outer side of each inner link plate is provided with a pair of bent portions each extending from an outermost edge of each second coupling portion toward the connecting surface. A gap is defined between each bent portion and the connecting surface. The gap is less than the minimum thickness of a narrow tooth of a chainring, thereby preventing the tooth from being jammed in the gap.
Abstract:
A low-noise lifting device includes a rack and a gear. The rack includes first teeth each having a first crown portion. A surface of the first crown portion is defined as a first contact surface having a circular arc shape. The gear includes second teeth. A second root portion is defined between every adjacent two of the second teeth. A surface of the second root portion is defined as a second contact surface having a circular arc shape. When the gear is meshed with the rack, the second contact surface and the first contact surface are in close contact with each other in a circular arc shape, without a backlash, so as to reduce the noise generated by the transmission.
Abstract:
A chain plate structure includes a link plate body and a sleeve. The link plate body has an acting surface being provided with a first approach edge, two combining portions, and a limiting block located adjacent to the first approach edge. The limiting block has an altitude higher than an altitude of the acting surface. The sleeve is mounted on the link plate body and has a through hole whose maximum diameter is greater than a maximum diameter of a raised ring peripherally formed on the corresponding one of the combining portions. Therefore, when two of the link plate bodies are combined together, a first space is formed between the acting surfaces of the two aligned link plate bodies. The limiting block serves to limit the first space, while the sleeve is allowed to move on one of the combining portions so as to provide a second space.
Abstract:
A semiconductor includes a semiconductor substrate, a gate stack on the semiconductor substrate, and a stressor having at least a portion in the semiconductor substrate and adjacent to the gate stack. The stressor includes a first stressor region and a second stressor region on the first stressor region, wherein the second stressor region extends laterally closer to a channel region underlying the gate stack than the first stressor region.

Abstract:
A new and improved method for tracking and/or spatial localization of an invasive device in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is provided. The invention includes providing an invasive device including a marker having a chemically shifted signal source with a resonant frequency different from the chemical species of the subject to be imaged, applying a pulse sequence, detecting the resulting RF magnetic resonance signals, and determining the 3D coordinates of the marker. The invention also includes generating scan planes and reconstructing an image from the detected signals to generate an image having the marker contrasted from the subject. The invasive device includes a marker having a chemically shifted signal source which has a resonant frequency different from the chemical species of the subject to be imaged for use in tracking the device during imaging.
Abstract:
A non-contact 3D human data acquisition system and method includes a depth-sensing camera used to acquire the front and back depth image data of static body of a test individual, and a human characteristic algorithmic processor electrically connected with the depth-sensing camera, so as to acquire the depth image data for subsequent processing. The human characteristic algorithmic processor includes a human depth data analysis module, a human sire measurement module, and a 3D human feature data acquisition module. The depth-sensing camera could be used to capture depth images, and the human characteristic algorithmic processor can be performed without contacting, with the human body or available in remote control. This allows one individual to rapidly and easily obtain important characteristic data of the human body, conduct 3D human body analysis, and collect important characteristic sizes, thus helping to set up statistical databases for further analysis, research, and other applications.
Abstract:
Methods and compositions are provided for delivering a polynucleotide encoding a gene of interest to a target cell using a virus. The virus envelope comprises a cell-specific binding determinant that recognizes and binds to a component on the target cell surface, leading to endocytosis of the virus. A separate fusogenic molecule is also present on the envelope and facilitates delivery of the polynucleotide across the membrane and into the cytosol of the target cell. The methods and related compositions can be used for treating patients having suffering from a wide range of conditions, including infection, such as HIV; cancers, such as non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and breast cancer; and hematological disorders, such as severe combined immunodeficiency.
Abstract:
A rack type telescopic handle of horticultural shears includes a fixed handle with a rack, a movable handle sheathed on the fixed handle, and a control device installed at an end of the movable handle, a movable gear pivotally coupled to the control device, and the control device controls an engagement and a separation of the movable gear with the rack, so that the movable handle can slide to an appropriate position on the fixed handle before the movable handle is fixed to the fixed handle so as to adjust the length of the handle of the horticultural shears.
