Abstract:
A detection method using colorimetric analysis of the present invention includes: providing a first solution in which two materials selected from metal nanoparticles, an oxidizing agent, and chloride ions are mixed; providing a second solution including one other material that is not included in the first solution among the metal nanoparticles, the oxidizing agent, and the chloride ions; preparing a mixture solution by mixing the first solution and the second solution; and testing and measuring a color change of the mixture solution.
Abstract:
A method of managing a plurality of computing resources including obtaining a first load threshold and a second load threshold, obtaining a first load value and a second load value, comparing the first load threshold and the second load threshold with the first load value and the second load value, and changing an operating mode of a resource of the plurality of computing resources when both the first load threshold and the second load threshold are between the first load value and the second load value.

Abstract:
Methods, systems, and products are disclosed for securing access to a file system. A directory is established in a hierarchical file structure having access permission defined by a first owner. A subdirectory is established in the directory. A sub-level subdirectory is established in the subdirectory having access permissions defined by a second owner. The subdirectory is publically accessible to anyone satisfying the access permission defined by the first owner, such that a change directory system call is executed for a user in the subdirectory, even though the user has not authenticated the access permission defined by the second owner.
Abstract:
Applications, systems and methods for identifying and monitoring critical colors in a print job and using an embedded color sensing device to measure critical color test patterns inserted in the print job are disclosed. The applications permits the user to interact with a print job and select of one or more critical colors from within the print job. In one embodiment, an application is configured to provide a graphical user interface (GUI) to facilitate the user in selecting critical colors. A printing system and method are disclosed for automatically monitoring critical colors in a print job and using an embedded color sensing device to measure critical color test patterns inserted in the print job. In one embodiment, printed critical color test patterns are separated from the printed customer documents and direct to a color sensing device for measurement.

Abstract:
A method and system for providing point of need diagnostic information in an electronic service manual. A rendering device can be configured to transmit machine diagnostics related reports to a computer. The diagnostics are then integrated into an electronic service manual. In this way a reference can be created which includes point of need diagnostic information related to the machine, thereby increasing the productivity of user time spent on maintenance activities associated with the machine.
