Abstract:
A power semiconductor module achieves high isolation strength from a base through selectively positioning a plurality of metal coatings on first and second surfaces and positioning edges of the plurality to beneficially reduce the field strength tangentially to a selected position, especially in a defined critical region directly adjacent a metal coating edge on a first surface opposite the base. This design results in regions which beneficially allow field lines to extend without functional detriment. The beneficial position selection is is achieved by means of an optimization process in which the tangential components of the field strength beside the first or second metallization edge reach identical values.
Abstract:
An operator control unit for operating a machine tool, a production machine, a crane and/or a robot, includes a screen, softkey buttons and an operating button. The operator control unit is designed such that on invoking an on-screen display, the invoked on-screen display is displayed. A user menu is displayed by pressing the operating button, and, by pressing a softkey button for a certain length of time, the softkey button pressed in this manner is assigned to the invoked on-screen.
Abstract:
An operating device for operating a machine tool, a production machine and/or a machine in the form of a robot, includes a screen which is able to simultaneously display a first operating window and a second operating window. A first application for operating the machine can be displayed in the first operating window, and a second application for operating the machine can be displayed in the second operating window. The first application is operated using first operating buttons which are associated with the first operating window, and the second application is operated using second operating buttons which are associated with the second operating window. The first operating buttons are arranged along an individual side or a plurality of sides of the first operating window, and the second operating buttons are arranged along an individual side or a plurality of sides of the second operating window.
Abstract:
A power semiconductor module having at least one fuse. The power semiconductor module comprises a housing, load terminal elements that lead outside of the housing, and a substrate disposed inside the housing with a plurality of metal connecting tracks of different polarity electrically insulated from one another. On at least one of these connecting tracks, at least one power semiconductor component is disposed and is connected correctly in terms of circuitry to first connecting elements that have a first line cross section. The fuse comprises a second connecting element that has a second line cross section, less than the first, and is disposed between two connecting tracks and/or between a connecting track and a load terminal element. The second connecting element is sheathed in one portion by an explosion protection means.

Abstract:
A method and operator control unit is disclosed that uses a screen, softkey buttons and an operating button. If, after a first on-screen display is invoked by briefly pressing a softkey button, the operating button is then pressed while that first on-screen display is displayed on the screen, a user menu is displayed as a second on-screen display on the screen. Then, a softkey button is pressed for a longer length of time while the user menu is displayed, the softkey button pressed in this manner becomes a shortcut on the user menu. The shortcut allows the user to directly invoke said first on-screen display from the user menu. Thus, the operating button provides a user-selected menu of shortcuts that gives the user direct access to predetermined softkey on-screen displays.
Abstract:
A control command is provided to a control computer, by which a workpiece can be machined by a machine tool over a predetermined total height and a predetermined contiguous region by cutting, in particular by turning with a lathe. The control computer automatically determines, based on the control command, a number of travel paths, based on which the workpiece is machined in the predetermined region over a partial height until reaching the total height. The control computer determines the travel paths so that the partial height is varied.
