Abstract: An outer rotor electric motor assembly for industrial applications is provided. The outer rotor electric motor assembly includes a stator including a stator core defining a cavity, and a rotor including a wall and one or more magnets aligned along the wall. The wall is positioned outside the stator. The rotor further includes a first cover coupled with the wall and one or more fins positioned on the first cover, wherein the one or more fins are received in the cavity.
