Abstract: Method of preparing a mould for injection moulding are disclosed including the steps of: placing the mould in a chamber; creating an atmosphere in the chamber which includes vaporised siloxanes. The step of creating the atmosphere may include the steps of: introducing liquid siloxanes into the chamber; and applying heat to cause vaporisation of at least some of the liquid siloxanes.
