Abstract:
A ballast water electrolytic apparatus for treating ballast water comprising a ballast water electrolytic chamber and an oxygen supply chamber, the ballast water electrolytic chamber including an anode for producing chlorine oxides by electrolyzing ballast water and an oxygen cathode for separating the ballast water electrolytic chamber and the oxygen supply chamber and for producing water by reacting hydrogen ions in the ballast water electrolytic chamber with oxygen flowing into the oxygen supply chamber.
Abstract:
A stacking alternator includes a supporting frame, at least one stationary armature device securely supported by the supporting frame and at least two rotating magnetic devices rotatably supported by the supporting frame two sides of the stationary armature device respectively, wherein the rotating magnetic devices are arranged to be driven to move with respective to the stationary armature device so as to produce a relative movement between the stationary armature device and the rotating magnetic devices for generating a predetermined amount of electrical current at the stationary armature device, wherein the stationary armature device and the rotating magnetic devices are alignedly and spacedly supported by the supporting frame to form a stacking structure of the stationary armature device and the rotating magnetic devices.
Abstract:
A floating wind turbine includes a floating frame, and at least one wind turbine assembly. The floating frame is adapted for suspendedly traveling in a fluid medium so as to be exposed to a predetermined amount of air flow. The wind turbine assembly includes a rotor hub and a plurality of blades. Each of the blades has a proximal end radially extended from the guiding rim of the rotor rub and a distal end outwardly extending to define a blade surface between the proximal end and the distal end, wherein the surfaces of the blades are arranged in such a manner that when the air flows exerts on the blade surfaces of the blades, the rotor hub is driven to rotate for generating electricity, wherein the rotor hub allows the air flow passing through an air passage to minimize an air drag thereof.
Abstract:
An air filter restriction indicator may comprise an indicator tab, a spindle inserted into the retention hole, a spindle-biasing member situated coaxial with the spindle, a tab-biasing member connected to the indicator tab; and a tab housing; wherein the indicator tab is adapted to extend through an indicator hole. The tab-biasing member may be adapted to move the indicator tab between a non-signaling position and a signaling position. The spindle may be situated within an effluent outlet for restraining the tab-biasing member from urging the indicator tab from the non-signaling position to the signaling position. The spindle is situated for subsequently releasing the indicator tab when pressure in the effluent outlet drops below a predetermined value relative to an ambient air pressure outside the filter housing.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method and apparatus for electrolysis-based generation of hydrogen and oxygen to enhance combustion. A hydrogen generating apparatus comprises an electrolysis cell, the electrolysis cell electrically connected to a power source, an outlet for directing effluent gases from the electrolysis cell, and a scrubber for using a scrubbing medium to remove contaminants from the effluent gas flow. In another option, a first mesh electrode may be situated within the electrolysis cell and electrically connected to a power source, a second mesh electrode may be situated within the electrolysis cell and electrically connected to the power source, and a membrane may be situated between the first mesh electrode and the second mesh electrode which may be immersed within the aqueous solution.
