    Abstract: A keyswitch includes a base, a keycap, a lift mechanism, a touch circuitry portion, and an outer covering layer. The keycap is connected to the base through the lift mechanism so as to move up and down relative to the base. The touch circuitry portion is disposed on the top surface of the keycap. A connection circuitry portion extends from the touch circuitry portion. The outer covering layer covers the touch circuitry portion and at least a portion of the connection circuitry portion. Thereby, the keyswitch can provide touch function without excessively increasing the whole thickness of the keyswitch. A keyboard includes a plurality of the keyswitches and therefore can provide touch function without excessively increasing the whole thickness of the keyboard.

    Abstract: A method for fabricating a keyboard covering film is provided. The method includes steps of: coating a transparent plastic material on an upper surface of a fabric layer before the transparent plastic material is cured; treating the fabric layer and the transparent plastic material by a hot press process to cure the transparent plastic material to form a transparent layer and to make the transparent layer and the fabric layer jointly form a number of keycap receiving sections; forming a mask layer on a lower surface of the fabric layer; removing a portion of the mask layer and a portion of the fabric layer located within each of the keycap receiving sections to form a number of hollow patterns.

    Abstract: A waterproof film includes a film reinforcing layer, a light shielding layer, a texture layer, and a pattern. The light shielding layer is combined under the film reinforcing layer and forms a plurality of protruding structures cooperatively with the film reinforcing layer by a hot pressing process. The texture layer is attached to a release film and then formed on a top surface and a side surface of each protruding structure after a hot pressing process is performed and the release film is then peeled. The pattern is formed on the texture layer or the light shielding layer.
