Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes a photographing device, an image processor and a fault diagnostic device. The photographing device outputs image data. The image processor includes an electronic circuit having recognition algorithms respectively for image recognition of a predetermined recognition target included in the image data. The fault diagnostic device determines that a fault occurs in the image processor, based on a condition that a first recognition result of recognizing test image data including a characteristic pattern also included in the recognition target in case of the image processor receiving the test image data is different from an expected value as a second recognition result of recognizing the test image data in case of one of the recognition algorithms receiving the test image data.

Abstract: A data storage control device controls a memory card which, including a non-volatile rewritable memory, operates using an external power supply. A DC/DC converter generates, by having a power supply of a +B voltage, a card operating voltage for operating the memory card. When delayed ACC is completed after an accessory power supply of a vehicle is turned off, a main microcomputer, a shutdown signal control unit, and a transistor set a shutdown terminal of the DC/DC converter to a low level by setting a main control signal input terminal to a high level and, thereby, stops operation of the DC/DC converter. This inhibits the occurrence of a case in which, after the accessory power supply of the vehicle is turned off, the circuit supplying power to the memory card affects other devices mounted in the vehicle.

Abstract: A controller is provided in an in-vehicle electronic control unit (ECU) for controlling a backup power source to maintain continuous power supply to a memory in a standby state of ACC-OFF using a battery of a vehicle. The controller reduces dark current in the standby state by reducing an output voltage of the backup power source of the ECU depending on a state of the battery of the vehicle. The controller may be provided to not only the single ECU but also other ECUs in the vehicle, thereby reducing the dark current in the whole of the vehicle.
