Abstract:
Spraying device for a deformable container, with a closing cap with a support to which a dip tube is fastened. The liquid coming from the dip tube upon squeezing the container is mixed with the air from the container and the mixture is led through an opening situated in the cap. The opening laterally connects to a bore which is open at one end for discharge of the mixture to the outside. An air duct ends in the bottom of the bore, situated opposite the open end, with the axis of the air duct running parallel to that of the bore. The air duct is connected to a space which is normally situated above the highest liquid level.
Abstract:
A dispensing device comprising pump 2 for dispensing liquid, the pump comprising a hollow piston 42 moveable within a cylinder, and a valve 16, 40 controlling the supply of liquid to the piston/cylinder. During a first phase of operation the piston moves outwardly within the cylinder while the valve permits the supply of liquid into the chamber and during a second, subsequent, phase of operation the piston moves inwardly within the cylinder while the valve shuts off the supply of flowable material, with the result that liquid drawn into the chamber during the first phase is pressurised. Arrangements for effective priming and pre-compression of liquid are also described.
Abstract:
A deformable spray dispenser comprises a valve unit which is capable of axial displacement within the container with respect to the container cover between a spray-discharge position and an air-suction position. The valve unit supports a member for shutting-off the eductor tube in its air-suction position. The valve unit is provided with a valve cap having an external face which is applied against an internal face of the container cover in the spray-discharge position and cooperates with the internal face so as to form a nozzle for discharging liquid through the container-cover orifice in an atomized spray pattern.
