Abstract: A swirler-ferrule assembly includes a radial swirler, a ferrule, a fuel nozzle, and a surface feature. The radial swirler includes a primary swirler vane having a primary air passage and a secondary swirler vane having a secondary air passage. The ferrule may be connected to the radial swirler. The surface feature may be located on the primary swirler vane and/or the ferrule. The surface feature may be configured to direct an air flow through the primary air passage away from a recirculation zone located upstream of the primary swirler vane. The surface feature has a trailing end and a distal end, and the fuel nozzle is axially aligned with the trailing end of the surface feature or is located axially downstream of the trailing end of the surface feature. The surface feature may have a plurality of grooves.

Abstract: A product applicator is secured to the blower tube of a portable air blower and incorporates an adapter nozzle assembly and product storage container. The adapter nozzle assembly is located at a distal end of the blower tube, and includes a substantially hollow tubular housing and a discharge nozzle located inside the housing. The housing has a discharge end and a connecting end adapted for being arranged inline with the discharge airstream supplied by the blower. The product storage container is located proximate the housing, and is designed for storing a product to be discharged through the nozzle. A flow regulator is adapted for selectively adjusting a supply of product from the container to the discharge nozzle.

Abstract: A nebulizer device and a nozzle module are provided. The nebulizer device includes a nebulizer module, the nozzle module, and a control module. The nozzle module includes a main body unit and a guide unit. The main body unit can be detachably connected to the nebulizer module. The main body unit corresponds to an inner wall of the accommodating space and protrudes toward the accommodating space to form a plurality of guiding parts, and each of the guiding parts is adjacent to one of the openings. The guide unit is disposed in the accommodating space and has a recessed part. The control module can be detachably connected to the main body unit.

Abstract: A spray device includes side-by-side spray tips that are spaced from one another at a distal end of the spray device. A first spray tip has a first fluid pathway defining a first flow area. Abstract: The electrospray device comprises a sprayer comprising a sprayer body and nozzle, and a partition positioned vertically and coaxially with the sprayer. The sprayer body is provided with a swirl generator for generating a swirling air stream, and a power supply connected between the nozzle and the partition, to apply voltage to the nozzle and the partition. The electrospray device may be part of a fluidized bed apparatus comprising a product container, a lower plenum base, an air distribution plate resided therebetween. When the power supply applies voltage in opposite polarities to the nozzle and the partition, the fluidized bed apparatus is used for coating particles; and when the power supply applies voltage of the same, the fluidized bed apparatus is used for spray-drying a solution. The electrospray device uses an electromagnetic hydrodynamic method to improve the performance of the fluidized bed apparatus and optimize the process of product.

Abstract: This disclosure provides an improved nozzle assembly. The nozzle assembly includes a spray element for jetting media through an outlet (e.g. onto a surface), an active conduit for supplying a first media to the spray element, and a passive conduit for supplying a feed of a second media to the spray element. The spray element includes an eductor that is actively fed with a pressurized stream of the first media (i.e., motive fluid) via an annular injection port coupled to the active conduit, and passively fed by the second media via an intake duct disposed cen-trally within the injection port. The eductor utilizes the Venturi effect to efficiently prepare a homogenized media jet from the two different media feeds. A system comprising the nozzle assembly, and methods of using each of the same, are also disclosed.

Abstract: An atomizer includes an atomizer body with a plurality of air passages defined therethrough from an upstream end of the atomizer body to a downstream end thereof. Abstract: A nozzle includes a nozzle body defining a liquid circuit extending from a liquid inlet to a liquid outlet. The liquid circuit includes a plurality of spiral liquid passages spiraling radially inward relative to a spray axis. The spiral liquid passages all lie in a plane normal to the spray axis. A manifold assembly includes a plurality of such nozzles. A manifold ring is in fluid communication with the liquid inlet of each of the nozzles to deliver liquid to the nozzles. The nozzles are circumferentially spaced apart around the manifold ring.
