Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulative housing, a number of terminals received in the insulative housing, an inner shell and an outer shell. The insulative housing includes a base portion and a mating portion extending from the base portion in a mating direction. The base portion includes a mounting face inclined to the mating direction. The inner shell covers the insulative housing. The inner shell includes a number of first mounting legs, and the outer shell includes a number of second mounting legs. The second mounting legs and the first mounting legs are arranged in a side-by-side way.

Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulative housing defining a mating chamber opening forwardly along a front-to-back direction, a number of contacts retained to the insulative housing, and a shielding plate having a pair of latch arms located at two opposite lateral sides of the mating chamber. Each of the contacts includes a contact portion extending into the mating chamber. The shielding plate includes a pair of retention arms each including an interference protrusion engaged with the insulative housing by interference fit. The interference protrusions are disposed in a face-to-face way to engage with a rear wall of the insulative housing so that the interference protrusions are retained tightly to insulative housing and less likely to damage the insulative housing.

Abstract: An electrical connector mounted to a magnetic mechanism includes an insulative housing and a number of terminals retained in the insulative housing. The insulative housing includes a base and a mating portion extending forwardly from the base. The mating portion includes an upper wall, a lower wall opposite to the upper wall, two side walls connecting between the upper and lower walls, and a mating space defined therebetween. Each of the terminals includes a connecting section extending into the mating space. The electrical connector also includes a pair of pogo pins respectively retained in the two opposite sides of the mating portion. The pogo pins and the mating portion are spaced apart from each other.
