Abstract:
Techniques are presented for illuminating an optically activated switch. The switch is illuminated from one side with a high reflector on the opposing side. An anti-reflective coating can also be formed on the side from which the illumination is incident. For more uniform illumination, a homogenizer, such as a micro-lens array, can be used. Illumination can be provided from an array of micro-fibers, which can be set back by a few millimeters from the switch.
Abstract:
A method of extracting hemp fibers from decorticated hemp bast skin involves pre-treating the decorticated hemp bast skin with an aqueous solution containing di-sodium citrate, tri-sodium citrate or a mixture thereof having a pH of from about 6-13 at temperature of about 90° C. or less; and subsequently treating recovered fiber with a enzyme. Determining the extent of completion of a plant fiber degumming process involves treating degummed fiber with a recombinant pectinase expressed in an organism that produces neither cellulose nor xylanase, to release reducing sugar from any residua pectin on the degummed fiber, and, quantifying the released reducing sugar.
Abstract:
A treatment pattern (such as a focused spot, an image, or an interferogram) projected on a treatment target may lose precision if the treatment beam must pass through a birefringent layer before reaching the target. In the general case, the birefringent layer splits the treatment beam into ordinary and extraordinary components, which propagate in different directions and form two patterns, displaced from each other, at the target layer. The degree of birefringence and the orientation of the optic axis, which influence the amount of displacement, often vary between workpieces or between loci on the same workpiece. This invention measures the orientation of the optic axis and uses the data to adjust the treatment beam incidence direction, the treatment beam polarization, or both to superpose the ordinary and extraordinary components into a single treatment pattern at the target, preventing the birefringent layer from causing the pattern to be blurred or doubled.

Abstract:
A method and a data processing system for processing a user-defined object based on an object storage. The method includes the following steps: a generic object template is newly built (10); corresponding information of the user-defined object is written into a name attribute, an application program attribute, a display attribute and a data field of the generic object template (20); the above information of the generic object template is stored as a generic object in a format which can be identified by an application program (30); the generic object is stored into the object storage (40); and the application program loads the generic object (50). The system includes a module for newly building a generic object template, a module for writing corresponding information of the user-defined object into a name attribute, an application program attribute, a display attribute and a data field of the generic object template, a module for storing the above information of the generic object template as a generic object in a format which can be identified by an application program, a module for storing the generic object into the object storage and a module for loading the generic object by the application program.

A method of extracting fibers from decorticated plant bast skin involves pre-treating decorticated plant bast skin of a fiber plant with an aqueous solution containing trisodium citrate having a pH in a range of about 8-14 at a temperature of about 90° C. or less; and subsequently treating recovered fibers with a protease at alkaline pH.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and system of object reference based on a Data Object Oriented Repository System (DOORS); the method includes: a reference object obtains a proxy address of a referred object according to the referred object; a proxy of the referred object is visited according to the proxy address; an object address recorded in the proxy is read; and the reference object refers to the referred object according to the object address. The system includes: a module adapted for a reference object to obtain a proxy address of a referred object according to the referred object; a module adapted to visit a proxy of the referred object according to the proxy address; a module adapted to read an object address recorded in the proxy; a module adapted for the reference object to refer to the referred object according to the object address. The present invention establishes a indirect reference mechanism between all the objects via the proxy; a complex network reference relationship between the objects is changed to a one-to-one reference relationship, additional processing procedure brought by adjusting the address is reduced, and speed of performing the DOORS services and processing performance of the DOORS are improved.
Abstract:
An assembling method of a coil and an elastic plate of a voice coil motor assembly includes step 1: winding a coil around a support body of a coil support of a sleeve having an upper flange and a lower flange, and the support body disposed between the upper flange and the lower flange, an outer edge of the upper flange having at least two opposing protrusions; step 2: installing two opposing lower elastic plates on an upper surface of the support through an automation apparatus, two opposing lower elastic plates being respectively stacked above the two opposing protrusions; step 3: placing the support stacked with the lower elastic plates in a welding apparatus, contact positions of the two lower elastic plates and the two protrusions being an area of contact positions of the lower elastic plates; and step 4: soldering tin on the solder paste or fixing by laser welding.
