Abstract: An osmotic food production system designed to produce fruits, vegetables, and freshwater from urine or saltwater. In some embodiments the osmotic food production system also produces oxygen. In some embodiments, the osmotic food production system is portable and capable of transporting on a vehicle capable of space travel. Embodiments of the present invention can be used to address the existing problems of food production, waste disposal/utilization, oxygen generation, and water conservation in an efficient way to allow for prolonged space travel or colonization of distant planets and moons.

Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to a magnetic and osmotic inner tube for insertion in vehicle tires. The magnetic and osmotic inner tube may include a nonpermeable membrane ring coupled to a semipermeable membrane ring, an O-ring, and a group of polar magnets. The nonpermeable membrane ring may be coated with a sealant and store hypertonic fluid and plugging materials. The semipermeable membrane ring may store hypotonic fluid and plugging materials. When a vehicle tire is punctured by an object, the hypotonic fluid and the plugging materials are drawn by osmosis through the semipermeable membrane ring into the hypertonic fluid of the nonpermeable membrane ring to create an osmotic pressure on the nonpermeable membrane ring that causes the O-ring to seal the puncture. The polar magnets may be arranged, in parallel, to generate opposing magnetic forces that create a magnetic field that supports a vehicle weight.

The osmotic rehydration apparatus includes a pressurized chamber, a humidifier, an ozone generator, an electrostatic sprayer, a reservoir containing saline, and an air compressor. The perishable items are placed in the osmotic chamber under positive pressure. A film of saline solution is applied to the surface of the perishable items via an electrostatic sprayer. The saline/chlorine film on the perishable items is dried, and the osmotic chamber is saturated with ozone gas via an ozone generator. The osmotic chamber is then saturated with tiny pure water droplets via a humidifier or an electrostatic sprayer. The pressure within the chamber is raised to a pressure above atmospheric pressure. The osmotic chamber is then placed inside a cooler at a temperature slightly above freezing.

Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to a diffuser headband system. The system may include a diffuser headband formed from an elastic material coupled to a sanitized air generating source that produces sanitized air. The diffuser headband may form a substantially oval shape and include an elastic tube attached to the elastic material. A first portion of the elastic tube may be perforated to include a group of air outlet holes spaced along a surface of the elastic tube. A second portion of the elastic tube may include an inlet that receives the sanitized air from the sanitized air generating source. The air outlet holes receive the sanitized air from the inlet and expel the sanitized air to provide an air shield that encircles a person's body wearing the diffuser headband. The air shield blocks viral aerosol droplets from entering or leaving an airspace occupied by the person wearing the diffuser headband.

Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to an air jet shield. The air jet shield may include a support frame configured to attach to a vehicle utilizing a set of security straps. Sets of V-shaped and concave air ducts may be horizontally and vertically coupled to the support frame, respectively. Each of the air ducts may have a decreasing cross-sectional area and include (i) an inlet that receives air from a surrounding environment during a travel of the vehicle into a headwind or crosswind and (ii) an outlet that dispenses the air received from the inlet as a free air jet. Upon entering a headwind or crosswind, the free air jet creates a wind shear causing rotation at an increased velocity. Within the free air jet and surrounding the vehicle, static air pressure and wind velocity is decreased, thereby causing a reduction in aerodynamic drag during travel.

Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to a coronavirus air sanitization/isolation system with anti-virus curtain. The system may include a group of anti-virus strips with attached separation magnets coupled to an air inlet housing mounted above (e.g., in an attic ceiling) in an enclosed space. The anti-virus strips may be coated with a saline and soap solution that attracts airborne droplets contaminated with the coronavirus and dissolves a fatty layer of coronavirus cell membranes to prevent cell replication of the coronavirus, thereby destroying the coronavirus. The air inlet housing may include exhaust ventilation fans, salt filters, a wick saturated with the saline and soap solution, an electro-static air filter, and a distribution air duct. The fans may be utilized to circulate an airstream containing the coronavirus through the anti-virus strips, the filters, the saturated wick, and the distribution air duct to remove the coronavirus while protecting occupants with uncontaminated air.
