    Abstract: A blade of a cutting tool is stuck into a medium adhered on a support member and is stopped in a state in which a blade edge is positioned between upper and lower surfaces of the medium. A cut line is formed in the medium by the support member and the cutting tool being moved. The blade is pulled out from the medium. An embossing tool is pressed against a position along the cut line of the medium. A continuous recess extending along the cut line is formed in the medium by the support member and the embossing tool being moved.

    Abstract: An embossing apparatus includes a base, a work table, a mat, a pen carriage and a first tool. The base includes a conveyance path extending in a first direction. The work table is attached to the conveyance path and moves in the first direction. The mat is arranged on the work table. The pen carriage is spaced apart from the base and moves in the second direction parallel to the major surface of the work table and different from the first direction. The first tool is arranged on the pen carriage and moves in the third direction perpendicular to the major surface of the work table. The first tool moves in the third direction and is pressed against a medium adhered on the mat, thereby forms a recess in the medium.

    Abstract: A cutting plotter includes a driving roller, a rotating shaft, pinch rollers, a cutter, and a press roller. The driving roller extends in a direction of a first axis and rotates around the first axis. The rotating shaft extends in a direction of a second axis parallel to the first axis, and is configured to be rotatable around the second axis. A passage through which a cutting target passes is formed between the driving roller and the rotating shaft. The pinch rollers are provided on the rotating shaft. The cutter is selectively pressed to the cutting target. The press roller is provided on the rotating shaft between the pinch rollers, and presses the cutting target against the driving roller. The press roller is formed by a coil spring into which the rotating shaft is inserted.
