Abstract: The present invention ensures improving responsiveness in a P2P type distributed database system that includes a plurality of node computers capable of storing management target data in storage devices. The storage devices include a first type storage device having a high input/output performance and a second type storage device having a low input/output performance. There is provided the storage devices that store KeySpace management tables including response count information indicative of a count of the node computers from which the identical management target data are to be read. The identical management target data are required to respond to a read request of the management target data. The node computers by a count indicated by the response count information and capable of storing the management target data in the first type storage devices among the plurality of node computers are determined as storage destinations when a CPU receives a write request of new management target data. The determined node computers are caused to store the management target data.

Abstract: The present invention provides a cloud usage assisting apparatus which assists determination of an optimal cloud usage configuration. The cloud usage assisting apparatus calculates changes in performance and cost of a service which are to occur when each of actions is executed and a configuration change is made, based on menu information, storage resource configuration information, and monitoring information, each of the actions being an action in which at least one of the configuration changes of changing of a menu of the storage service involving one cloud, changing of the menu involving different clouds, and changing of a parameter that changes the configurations of the storage resources in the menu are executed on storage resources provided by one or more clouds, and determines the action as a recommended candidate when the action improves at least one of the performance and the cost.

Abstract: An event monitoring system includes a processor and a storage unit. The storage unit holds an event message including a character string related to an event occurring in an information system and guide information including one or more guides. The guide includes a guide message including a predetermined character string, notified in response to the event, and information regarding a coping method for the event. The processor compares the event message and the guide, associates the guide with the event in a case where the guide further includes information for identifying a variable portion of the guide message and a portion other than the variable portion of the guide message coincides with a portion other than a portion corresponding to the variable portion in the event message, and receives an input of information indicating a correct answer of a guide to be associated with the event in a case where the guide does not include the information for identifying the variable portion.

Abstract: A management computer manages first XaaS including a first node configuration and second XaaS including a second node configuration that is dependent on resources provided by the first XaaS. When a required resource amount which is required for the first XaaS in order to change the second node configuration is larger than a resource amount which can be provided by the first XaaS, the management computer determines a changed first node configuration which is capable of providing a resource amount equal to or larger than the required resource amount and, after changing the first XaaS to the determined changed first node configuration, changes the second node configuration of the second XaaS.
