Abstract:
In order to solve a conventional problem that it is not possible to simultaneously output two or more images obtained by performing different processes on one input image, an image output apparatus includes: an input image accepting unit that accepts an input image; a first image acquiring unit that acquires a first image based on the input image; a second image acquiring unit that performs an image process that is different from the process that is performed by the first image acquiring unit, on the input image or the first image, thereby acquiring a second image; and an output unit that outputs the first image and the second image. Accordingly, it is possible to simultaneously output two or more images obtained by performing different processes on one input image.
Abstract:
In order to solve a problem that conventional image output apparatuses do not allow a wide-band image having a new value for a user to be output in a narrow band, an image output apparatus includes: an accepting unit that accepts first-image information, which is information related to a first image of a first band; and multiple image output units that output second images, each of which is an image of a second band that is narrower than or equal to the first band, using the first-image information, wherein a third image obtained as a result of output by the multiple image output units is an image subjected to output control so as to have a band that is wider than that of the first image in terms of space, time, or gradation. Accordingly, a wide-band image having a new value for a user can be output in a narrow band.

Abstract:
In order to address a conventional problem that video signal processing in consideration of system features has not been performed, a video signal processing apparatus includes: a system feature accepting unit that accepts one or at least two system features from when an image is acquired to when an image is output; an input image accepting unit that accepts an input image; a conversion processing unit that performs conversion processing that acquires an output image from the input image, using the system features; and an output unit that outputs the output image acquired by the conversion processing unit. Accordingly, it is possible to perform video signal processing in consideration of system features.

In order to address a conventional problem that video signal processing in consideration of behavior of light in nature has not been performed, a video signal processing apparatus includes: a storage unit in which correspondence information indicating correspondence between optical signal information related to an optical signal in an environment in which an image is acquired and electrical signal information related to an electrical signal in the environment is stored; an input image accepting unit that accepts an input image; an optical signal information acquiring unit that acquires optical signal information corresponding to electrical signal information acquired from the input image, using the correspondence information; a conversion processing unit that performs conversion processing that acquires an output image from the input image, using the optical signal information acquired by the optical signal information acquiring unit; and an output unit that outputs the output image. Accordingly, it is possible to perform video signal processing in consideration of behavior of light in nature.

Abstract:
An image processing apparatus includes a storage unit that stores a look-up table having association information for associating at least one first image with at least one second image that is an image whose load on a brain has been adjusted, an image accepting unit that accepts at least one image, a mapping unit that acquires a whole or part of one or more second images associated with a whole or part of the at least one image accepted by the image accepting unit, using association information from among the one or more pieces of association information, and an image output unit that outputs at least one output image, which is the whole of the at least one second image acquired by the mapping unit or a group of part of the at least one second image acquired by the mapping unit.
Abstract:
An image processing apparatus includes: a digital processing unit that performs digital processing on accepted one or at least two images, thereby acquiring one or at least two processed images; a physical property information acquiring unit that acquires physical property information, which is information relating to a physical property that has been lost compared with one or more physical properties of a target contained in the images, in the one or at least two processed images; a physical property processing unit that performs physical property processing, which is processing for adding a physical property corresponding to the physical property information, using the one or at least two processed images; and an output unit that outputs a processed image subjected to the physical property processing. Accordingly, it is possible to reproduce lost physical properties of a target expressed in an image, to the fullest extent possible.
