    Abstract: A portable electric device comprising a cylinder in which at least one movable piston slides between a start position corresponding to the top of the cylinder and an end position corresponding to the bottom of the cylinder, said piston comprising a mechanism configured to come into contact with an element to be operated once the piston is in the end position or is between the start position and the end position. More particularly, the portable electric device comprises: a power supply mechanism intended to supply power to a first fixed coil, the first fixed coil being positioned facing an expulsion mechanism for expelling the piston when the piston is in the start position, the expulsion mechanism being secured to a first face of the movable piston; and at least one braking mechanism for braking the piston that are configured to brake the piston when the piston is in the end position or approaching the end position. The movable piston being composed of: a first part made from a first material having an electromagnetic capability suitable for reducing magnetic losses and limiting the induction saturation; and a second part made from a second material suitable for withstanding shocks while or after the piston makes contact with the braking mechanism; the first part being separated from said braking mechanism by the second part.

    Abstract: A fastener driving tool for fixation of parts by way of nails or staple propelled by a driving piston under the effect of the combustion of one or more fluids. More specifically, a device of controlling the relative proportions of the fluids used for combustion including a combustion chamber having a first inlet port for inputting a first fluid having at least one variable fluid characteristic, and a second inlet port for inputting a second fluid. A first actuator is operably coupled to said first inlet port, adapted to switch between a first open state, allowing said first fluid to move into said combustion chamber at a first mass flow rate that is dependent on said at least one variable fluid characteristic, and a first closed state, preventing or at least limiting said first fluid from moving into said combustion chamber. A second actuator is operably coupled to said second inlet port, adapted to switch between a second open state, allowing said second fluid to move into said combustion chamber at a second mass flow rate, and a second closed state, preventing said second fluid from moving into said combustion chamber. A controller is configured to operate any one of said first and second actuators and to control a time interval of said first open state and/or said second open state based on at least one predetermined parameter, so as to provide a predetermined mass ratio of said first and second fluid within said combustion chamber.

    Abstract: The present disclosure concerns a method and an electronic ignition control device of a combustion chamber of a gas-powered fixing tool designed to optimize the quality of the shooting of fixation elements by the tool. According to the principle of the present disclosure, the triggering of the ignition of the chamber to produce the shot is commanded on the condition that the time between the moment when the user places the tool against a work surface and the moment when he pulls on an actuation trigger of the tool is greater than a predefined delay time, to ensure an optimal filling of the combustion chamber with the combustible gas. According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, the triggering of the ignition is enabled on the supplemental condition that a signal of medium ignition voltage is greater than a trigger threshold voltage.

    Abstract: The present disclosure concerns a method and an electronic ignition control device of a combustion chamber of a gas-powered fixing tool designed to optimize the quality of the shooting of fixation elements by the tool.
