Abstract: Embodiments of an optical sensor for detecting and processing light signals is presented. An optical sensor according to some embodiments includes an array of photosensitive pixels for detecting light signals, a first signal output for an analog front end signal processing unit for processing the signals of one or more of the photosensitive pixels of the array of photosensitive pixels, and a second signal output for a readout circuit for processing the signals of the array of photosensitive pixels.
