Abstract: According to one embodiment, a display device includes a first substrate having a first surface, a second surface opposite to the first surface and a first side surface, and a second substrate having a third surface opposed to the first surface, a fourth surface opposite to the third surface and a second side. The first substrate has a first inclined surface which is continuous with the first surface and the first side surface, the second substrate has a second inclined surface which is continuous with the fourth surface and the second side surface, and a first width of the first inclined surface is less than a second width of the second inclined surface.
