Abstract:
The present invention provides artificial hair, an artificial hair unit, a method of applying artificial hair, and a method of applying an artificial hair unit, in which a fiber bundle does not hang down under its own weight, rises up, and exhibits excellent appearance with extra volume at a root. Also provided is a configuration including a base material, a plurality of fiber bundles, and a fixing thread. In the configuration, the base material may have a first side extending in a first direction. Each of the plurality of fiber bundles includes a plurality of fiber parts and a connecting part, where the connecting part connects a first end side of each of the plurality of fiber parts and extends in a direction different from an extending direction of the plurality of fiber parts, and where the fixing thread attaches a vicinity of the connecting part to the base material.
Abstract:
A flame-retardant modacrylic fiber including a modacrylic copolymer in an amount of 100 parts by mass, and a zinc stannate compound in an amount of 1 to 18 parts by mass, wherein the zinc stannate compound has an average particle size D50 of 0.5 μm or more is provided. Further, a flame-retardant fiber composite and a flame-retardant work clothing including the flame-retardant modacrylic fiber in an amount of 30 to 80 mass %, and one or more other fibers selected from the group consisting of natural fibers and chemical fibers in an amount of 20 to 70 mass % are provided.
Abstract:
Provided are an artificial hair and an artificial hair unit that are easier to attach to a head of a user, a wig cap, or the like, and a method for attaching the artificial hair. The present invention provides a configuration including at least two fiber groups and an attachment part having a plurality of annular parts. The two fiber groups spread at least in a first direction, where the attachment part extends in the first direction and is sandwiched between the two fiber groups and sewn onto the two fiber groups, and where the plurality of annular parts are exposed to an outside from between the two fiber groups.
Abstract:
An arc resistant acrylic fiber includes an acrylic polymer. The arc resistant acrylic fiber also includes an infrared absorber in an amount of 1 wt % to 30 wt % with respect to a total weight of the acrylic polymer.
Abstract:
A pile fabric includes a plurality of pile portions including a long pile portion and a short pile portion. The short pile portion includes first fibers, and the long pile portion includes second fibers including modified cross-section fibers A. The modified cross-section fibers A have one or more cross-sectional shapes selected from the group consisting of C-shaped cross-sectional shapes and H-shaped cross-sectional shapes, and have a single fiber fineness of 15 to 60 dtex.
Abstract:
A vinyl chloride-based copolymer porous body contains a vinyl chloride-based copolymer as the main component. The vinyl chloride-based copolymer porous body has continuous pores having a pore size of 0.1 to 40 μm, the pores have a skeletal diameter of 0.1 to 20 μm, and the vinyl chloride-based copolymer has a thickness of 1 mm or more. Such a vinyl chloride-based copolymer porous body can be produced by a production method including the steps of: heating and dissolving the vinyl chloride-based copolymer in a solvent to obtain a vinyl chloride-based copolymer solution; cooling the vinyl chloride-based copolymer solution to obtain a precipitated product; and separating and drying the product to obtain a porous body containing the vinyl chloride-based copolymer as the main component.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a flame-retardant fabric that includes a modacrylic fiber and a cellulose fiber. The cellulose fiber is one or more selected from a regenerated cellulose fiber and a natural cellulose fiber. The flame-retardant fabric contains the modacrylic fiber in an amount of 65 to 90 wt % and the cellulose fiber in an amount of 10 to 35 wt % with respect to the overall weight of the fabric. The modacrylic fiber contains a magnesium compound inside the fiber. The flame-retardant fabric contains the magnesium compound in an amount of 2.5 to 4.5 wt %. Afterflame time and afterglow time of the flame-retardant fabric measured using a flammability test based on ISO 15025: 2000 are 2 seconds or less and 2 seconds or less, respectively.
Abstract:
A flame-retardant fiber composite includes an acrylic fiber A containing an acrylic copolymer and an aramid fiber. The acrylic fiber A is substantially free of an antimony compound, and the flame-retardant fiber composite forms a surface-foamed char layer when burned. A flame-retardant work clothing includes the flame-retardant acrylic fiber. A highly flame-retardant fiber composite and highly flame-retardant work clothing include an acrylic fiber, and are capable of exhibiting high flame retardancy while suppressing environmental impacts caused by a flame retardant.
Abstract:
A fabric for arc-protective garments includes first yarns and second yarns different from the first yarns. The first yarns include first modacrylic fibers, and the first modacrylic fibers contain an infrared absorber in an amount of 2.5 wt % or more with respect to a total weight of the first modacrylic fibers. The weight of the infrared absorber per unit area in the fabric for arc-protective garments is 0.05 oz/yd2 or more. An arc-protective garment includes the fabric for arc-protective garments.
