Abstract: Methods for producing a cosmetic coating on a skin surface, by: (A) electrostatically spraying a composition comprising component (a) one or more volatile substances selected from the group consisting of water, an alcohol and a ketone, and component (b) a polymer having a film-forming ability directly onto the skin to form a coating on the skin surface; and
(B) subsequently applying a powder-containing cosmetic on the formed coating, afford cosmetic coatings which can be removed without using a cleansing agent.
