    Abstract: The invention is related to an electronic cigarette and a method for reminding of charging of an electronic cigarette. The electronic cigarette comprises: a microcontroller, a charging prompt module, a power detection module and a power supply battery, wherein the power detection module is configured for detecting the remaining capacity of the power supply battery and sending the value of the remaining capacity to the microcontroller, the microcontroller is configured for comparing the received value of remaining capacity with a preset value, and controlling the charging prompt module to send a charging prompt signal when the value of the remaining capacity is lower than the preset value.
