Abstract: A liquid discharge head 2 of the present disclosure includes: a flow path member 4 having a plurality of pressurizing chambers 10 connected to respective discharge holes 8, a first common flow path 20 commonly connected to the plurality of pressurizing chambers 10, and a second common flow path 22 commonly connected to the plurality of pressurizing chambers 10; and a plurality of pressurizing units 50 that pressurizes the respective pressurizing chambers 10, in which the first common flow path 20 extends in a first direction and is open to an outside of the flow path member 4 at both end portions, and the second common flow path 22 extends in the first direction and is open to the outside of the flow path member 4 at both end portions.

Abstract: A first flow path member of a liquid ejection head includes a plurality of pressurizing chambers respectively connected to a plurality of ejection holes, a plurality of first individual flow paths and a plurality of second individual flow paths which are respectively connected to the plurality of pressurizing chambers, and a first common flow path connected in common to the plurality of first individual flow paths and the plurality of second individual flow paths. The pressurizing chamber, the first individual flow path, the first common flow path, and the second individual flow path configure an annular flow path. When T0 denotes a resonance period of the pressurizing chamber and T1 denotes a time required for a pressure wave to circulate once around the annular flow path, a decimal place value of T1/T0 is ⅛ to ⅞.

The pressurizing sections pressurize liquid in the pressurizing chambers. The third flow passage has a wide section connected to the pressurizing chamber and a narrow section connecting the wide section and the fourth flow passage. The wide section is disposed toward the discharge hole of the pressurizing chamber.

The first common channel, in the channel direction, includes a plurality of first portions, and a plurality of second portions each located between each two of the plurality of first portions and having smaller cross-sectional areas than those of the first portions in front and back of the same. In each of the plurality of ejection units, the first channel and the second channel are individually connected to two positions in the first common channel which sandwich at least one of the second portions between them.
