Abstract: Some aspects of this disclosure generally are related to improving the robustness of a flexible circuit structure, for example, by providing fault-tolerant electrical pathways for flow of electric current through the flexible circuit structure. In some embodiments, such fault tolerance is enhanced by way of a conductive mesh provided between an adjacent pair of resistive elements. Some aspects are related to improved voltage, current, or voltage and current measurement associated with various pairs of adjacent resistive elements at least when the various pairs have differing distances between them.

Abstract: In at least a medical system including a structure, a plurality of transducers located on the structure, a shaft member configured to percutaneously deliver the structure to a location within a patient, a plurality of conductors at least partially within the shaft member and coupled to the transducers, and a controller operatively coupled to the transducers via the conductors, the controller may cause first electrical power to be delivered to one or more of the transducers for a first period of time, where second electrical power less than the first electrical power, if delivered for a second period of time longer than the first period time would result in a steady-state temperature of a portion of the shaft member that would be just below a safe temperature limit for at least the portion of the shaft member.

Abstract: A pulsed field ablation system may be configured to control characteristics of high voltage pulses delivered during one or more cardiac cycles based on a characteristic of one or more cardiac cycles. For example, if a particular cardiac cycle has a first characteristic, a first high voltage pulse train may be delivered, but if the particular cardiac cycle has a second characteristic different than the first characteristic, a second high voltage pulse train having at least a different characteristic than the first high voltage pulse may instead be delivered.
