Abstract:
A place name information extraction apparatus in which not only a place name expression appeared in a text is extracted but also the type of the extracted place name expression can be judged, and a place name information extraction method of the apparatus, and a storing medium stored place name information extraction programs of the method, and a map information retrieval apparatus used the place name information extraction apparatus are provided. The place name information extraction apparatus provides a place name expression detecting means that detects a place name expression appeared in a text and its position appeared the place name expression in the text, and a place name type judging means that judges a place name type, which signifies a meaning role of the place name expression appeared in the text, by analyzing before and after the position appeared the place name expression in the text.
Abstract:
A stream data control server includes: a processable flow rate managing unit which manages a processable flow rate corresponding to an amount of data per unit time, which can be processed in each of storage units serving as storing destinations; a classified data flow rate managing unit which manages a data flow rate corresponding to an amount of data processed per unit time for each class of data to which a data priority is attached; and a storing destination control unit which controls the storing destinations of respective data based upon the processable flow rate of each of the storage units and the data flow rate for each class in such a manner that the data having higher data priorities are stored in the storage units having higher priorities within a range of the processable flow rate of each of the storage units.
Abstract:
A position related information presentation method, and corresponding system and recording medium storing a corresponding program are provided. The method includes a number of steps. With respect to a display of area information related to a position indicated by data of a three-dimensional map superimposed on the data of the three-dimensional map, information is detected on superimposing of one object on another in a predetermined angle range centered on the moving direction from the current position. Related area information is searched for from the area information using information on superimposing of one object on another. The area information is searched for based on input/output keywords. A path is searched for from the current position to the position specified by the searched area information, wherein a guide to the position specified by the area information is displayed based on this search result.
Abstract:
To provide a position related information presentation system that allows a user to experience as if the user had actually walked round and collected information about an area. A 3D map/information superimposed displaying portion reads 3D map data from a 3D map storing portion and displays area information such as town information related to the area displayed on the 3D map superimposed on the 3D map to the user. When the user changes a display of the 3D map by using a display change inputting portion, a position information searching portion searches for information related to a new display position from an area information storing portion. About the display of the area information superimposed on the 3D map, the field of view determining portion detects superimposing of one object on another such as buildings when viewed from the current position of the user using the map of the map database. A position information filtering portion searches for information related to objects visible to the user from the searched area information
Abstract:
A cam sprocket according to the present invention includes a ring-shaped plate portion having external teeth along its outer circumference; a circular plate portion that is disposed at the radially inner region substantially parallel to the ring-shaped plate portion and at a level difference in axial direction to the ring-shaped plate portion, the circular plate portion being abuttable against one end face in axial direction of the cam shaft; and a tapered portion linking the circular plate portion to the ring-shaped portion at a radially intermediate region. The tapered portion is provided with a plurality of punched portions whose radially inner faces are provided with a partial circular arc shape so as to come into area contact with an outer circumferential surface at the one end face in axial direction of the cam shaft.

Abstract:
A schedule management system is provided in which a requested task is not unconditionally accepted by the requesting schedule management system. The requested task may be accepted by the user's schedule management system by negotiating for the conditions under which the task will be completed so that the requested work can be allocated and accepted by mutual agreement between the schedule management systems of the requester and the requestee. The user's (requestee's) schedule management system negotiates for acceptable work conditions by evaluating the work load of the user based on the recorded personal schedule and calculating an acceptable completion day of the requested task. The requesting schedule management system then allocates the requested task to the user whose schedule management system is most likely to complete the task closest to the requested deadline based on the negotiation conditions transmitted from a plurality of user schedule management systems.
