Abstract:
An image processing device includes: an indication point acquiring section that acquires an indication point on a presentation material, which a presenter is pointing out with a pointer, through image processing on the presentation material taken by an image pickup device; an element layout changed material acquiring section that acquires an element layout changed material in which an layout of elements contained in the presentation material is changed; a changed indication point determining section that determines as a changed indication point a point on the element layout changed material corresponding to the indication point acquired by the indication point acquiring section; and a display image generating section generates an image in which an image of the element layout changed material is synthesized with a changed indication point indicating image showing the changed indication point and allows a display device to display the generated image.
Abstract:
An acronym-management program causes a computer to extracts an acronym from a list-updating reference for updating an acronym list; extracts, from the list-updating reference, a candidate for an expanded form corresponding to the extracted acronym; and, when the likelihood of the extracted acronym being used in the list-updating reference to refer to the extracted expanded-form candidate reaches or exceeds a specific level, increase, in the acronym list, the frequency corresponding to the acronym and the expanded form.
Abstract:
In a multi processing system, packet routing units are arranged in respective middleware layers in first nodes corresponding to memory spaces connected to plural processor cores and perform routing of a packet among parent nodes and child nodes in a tree. The child nodes are user nodes that are objects of respective application layers in the memory spaces. The first nodes are the parent nodes. The user nodes, the first nodes, and a second node in the tree are assigned addresses that identify parent-child relationship of nodes in the tree. The second node is a parent node of the first nodes. The packet routing unit (a1) stores the packet if the source address is identical to an own node address, (a2) transfers the packet to a child node if the source address indicates the child node, and (a3) transfers the packet to a parent node in the other cases.
Abstract:
A workflow control device includes a workflow management processing portion, a clumsiness detection processing portion, and a display processing portion. The workflow management processing portion manages a workflow for combining processes corresponding to specific operations on an electronic apparatus, in a specific order and performing execution instructions for the processes. The clumsiness detection processing portion detects clumsiness in an operation which has been performed by a user on the electronic apparatus and delayed from a threshold. The display processing portion causes an order of processes based on a workflow through which execution instructions for processes corresponding to operations of the user can be performed in order, to be displayed on a screen based on detection of the clumsiness.
Abstract:
A portable apparatus includes an image capturing device, a display device, an indoor image acquisition unit, an apparatus position acquisition unit, an apparatus information acquisition unit, and a display control unit. The indoor image acquisition unit acquires an indoor image of a building having a plurality of floors. The apparatus position acquisition unit acquires a position of an electronic apparatus in real space. The apparatus information acquisition unit acquires apparatus information on the electronic apparatus. The display control unit causes the display device to display a composite image formed by combining additional information based on the apparatus information with a to-be-combined image, while linking the additional information to a position of the electronic apparatus in the to-be-combined image, this position corresponding to a relationship between the position of the electronic apparatus in real space and a position of the portable apparatus in real space.
Abstract:
An information display system includes a word recognition device, a server, and a plurality of terminals. The server includes a first communication circuit, a dictionary, and a first control circuit. The first control circuit transmits the received word and the searched explanation to the plurality of terminals. The plurality of terminals each include a second communication circuit, an operation circuit, a display circuit, a storage circuit, and a second control circuit. When receiving the word and the explanation of the word from the server, the second control circuit causes the display circuit to display the received word and causes the storage circuit to store the received explanation. When accepting a selection of the displayed word via the operation circuit, the second control circuit obtains the explanation corresponding to the selected word from the storage circuit to cause the display circuit to display the obtained explanation.
Abstract:
An electronic apparatus includes: a touch panel, a content storage unit that stores content to be displayed on the touch panel in different languages; a selected language storage unit that stores a selected language; a content display unit that displays, on the touch panel, content in the selected language stored in the selected language storage unit, from pieces of content stored in the content storage unit in the languages; and a language setting unit that displays a language selection screen on the touch panel if a particular operation is accepted in a non-explicit area, which is not explicitly indicated as being ready for accepting an operation, the language selection screen being one of screens displayed on the touch panel, and also stores, in the selected language storage unit, a language selected by an operation accepted on the language selection screen.

Abstract:
An electronic device includes a touch panel, a time information obtaining section, and an authentication section. The time information obtaining section obtains time information for user authentication. The authentication section executes user authentication based on the time information obtained by the time information obtaining section. The time information obtaining section changes the time information according to a user's touch duration on the touch panel and changes an amount of change in time that the time information indicates according to a user's manner of touching the touch panel.
Abstract:
A non-transitory computer-readable recording medium that stores a document evaluation program executable by a computer in a document evaluation apparatus includes first program code that causes the computer to determine that a plurality of pages from each of which the same type of object has been detected are in the same group and to detect the plurality of pages in the same group from the document, second program code that causes the computer to evaluate consistency in the plurality of pages, in the same group, that have been detected by the first program code, and third program code that causes the computer to display an evaluation result obtained by the second program code.
