A mobile terminal capable of setting a cover sheet and a header of a fax document and causing an image forming apparatus to transmit the fax document. Cover data representative of a cover sheet is created according to the settings of a cover sheet of a fax document, and header data representative of a header is created according to the settings of a header of the fax document. Upon receipt of an instruction for transmitting a fax document from the user, the mobile terminal transmits an instruction to the image forming apparatus for reading an original and transmitting the fax document, together with transmission destination information indicative of a transmission destination to which the fax document is to be transmitted and at least one of the cover data and the header data.

An image processing apparatus that performs print processing based on a job includes a reception unit configured to receive an operation performed by a user, a change unit configured to, in response to the reception unit receiving a predetermined operation, change a job on which the print processing is not yet completed to a suspended state, and a job control unit configured to, when detecting a logout event that causes a user who is logged into the image processing apparatus to log out of the image processing apparatus, resume at least one job and cancel a job or jobs that are not resumed by the job control unit selected from jobs changed by the change unit to be in the suspended state.

The disclosure relates to a method of transmitting fax messages from at least one fax message sending device to at least one fax message receiving device. The method is implemented in a fax communication device driver. The method comprises the steps of receiving, from a fax server software module, fax data associated with a fax message to be transmitted from a fax message sending device to a fax message receiving device; deciding, on the basis of at least one predetermined routing rule, whether to route the fax data to the fax communication device or to the cloud provider; and based on a decision result, selectively transmitting the fax data to the fax communication device or to the cloud provider for transmission to the fax message receiving device.

The apparatus information acquisition unit acquires apparatus information on the electronic apparatus. The display control unit causes the display device to display a composite image formed by combining additional information based on the apparatus information with a to-be-combined image, while linking the additional information to a position of the electronic apparatus in the to-be-combined image, this position corresponding to a relationship between the position of the electronic apparatus in real space and a position of the portable apparatus in real space.

Described embodiments provide a method and user equipment for selectively transferring image data from user equipment to a coupled external device. The method may include determining whether user equipment is coupled to an external device, receiving selection inputs from a user for selecting at least one of applications installed in the user equipment when the user equipment is determined as being coupled to the external device, and selectively transferring image data produced in the user equipment based on the selected application. The method may further include controlling the coupled external device to display the transferred image data on a display unit of the coupled external device.
