Abstract:
The invention relates to a reverse rotation preventing structure of a centrifugal compressor. The reverse rotation preventing structure of the centrifugal compressor comprises: a discharge pipeline of the centrifugal compressor; a suction pipeline of the centrifugal compressor; a bypass pipeline for connecting the discharge pipeline and the suction pipeline, wherein a predetermined valve is formed thereon; a control means for controlling an operation of the centrifugal compressor; and a detecting means for generating a predetermined signal to the control means if the operation of the centrifugal compressor is suddenly stopped, thereby opening the bypass pipeline.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a remote control system for a home appliance network and a method for operating the same. The system includes a wired and wireless Internet network; at least one home server for controlling and managing a home network connected to a plurality of home appliances; and a central portal server for updating an IP (Internet Protocol) address to a varied IP address to manage the home server whenever an IP address allocated to the home server for using the Internet network varies, and for exchanging data with the home server. The system and method enable the central portal server to manage a plurality of home servers and remotely control a plurality of home appliances connected to the home network by allowing the home server to transmit a key message containing a varied IP address so that an existing IP address stored in a database of the central portal server can be updated to a new IP address when a home server using a dynamic IP is connected to the central portal server.
Abstract:
A home network system including a protocol converter for converting protocols such that a passive home appliance and a home server connected to a network smoothly communicate signals based on different protocols with each other and a method for operating the home network system. The protocol converter converts a status information signal based on a home appliance protocol from the passive home appliance to transmit it to the home server. The protocol converter converts a control signal based on a home server protocol from the home server to transmit it to the passive home appliance. Therefore, the home server can be compatible with the passive home appliance irrespective of manufacturer and/or protocol of the passive home appliance connected to the network. Compatibility and applicability of the home network system are thus extended and simultaneously the home network system becomes more cost-effective.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a system for remotely controlling home appliances and a method for operating the same. The system for remotely controlling home appliances, includes: a wired and wireless Internet network; a home server for controlling and managing a home network connected to the home appliances; a central portal server for exchanging XML (extensible Markup Language) format data with the home server connected through the Internet network; and remote control equipment connected to the Internet network for remotely controlling the home appliances and forwarding a control command to the central portal server. The system and method can reduce a load of the home server and the central portal server and prevent the delay of data transmission, because an additional data format conversion process is not needed. The system and method simultaneously ensure the reliability and accuracy of the remote control system by preventing a malfunction of remote control due to an error of a command signal generated at the data format conversion process.
