Abstract: Systems and methods for a tubing disconnect assembly are disclosed. In an embodiment the system includes a first bioprocessing unit, a second bioprocessing unit, a flexible tubing in fluid communication with the first and second bioprocessing unit, and a tubular collar having a middle portion sandwiched between a first and second swaged end portions, and secured around at least a portion of the tubing, the collar configured to be disconnected by a disconnecting device in the middle region extending between the first and second swaged end portions.
