IN WHICH X IS CHLORINE OR BROMINE, R IS HYDROGEN, METHYL OR PHENYL, AND N IS A WHOLE NUMBER FROM 3 TO 10. SOME OF THE POLYMERS ARE AMORPHOUS. OTHER OF THE POLYMERS, THOSE PREPARED FROM STEREOREGULAR POLYALKENAMERS BY THE PRESENT PROCESS, APPEAR TO BE CRYSTALLINE WHEN SUBJECTED TO X-RAY EXAMINATION. ALL OF THESE POLYMERS ARE VULCANIZABLE.
