NEW PRODUCTS ARE DISCLOSED WHICH ARE SUBSTITUTED (CO) POLYALKAMERS OF HIGH MOLECULAR WEIGHT AND THE MACROMOLECULES OF WHICH CONSIST ESSENTIALLY OF THE SAME OR DIFFERENT REPEATING UNITS AND ARE CHARACTERIZED IN EXHIBITING A MAIN LINEAR SATURATED HYDROCARBON CHAIN HAVING TWO SIDE SUBSTIUENTS LINKED TO ADJACENT CARBON ATOMS. ONE OF THE SUBSTITUENTS IS A CHLORINE ATOM; THE OTHER IS AN ESTER GROUP.
