Abstract: Process for producing polyoxyperfluoromethylene polymers, carbonylfluoride and C2F4O wherein tetrafluoroethylene is reacted with molecular oxygen in the presence of ozone in a liquid reaction medium from the group of fluorinated and chlorofluorinated organic compounds at a temperature between substantially 10* and 40* C. and at an absolute pressure between substantially 700 and 800 mm./Hg.; the molar ratio C2F4 : O2 ranges between substantially 1 and 2.5 (preferably 1.5 to 2) and the molar ratio C2F4 : O3 ranges between substantially 10 and 500 (preferably 100 to 400).
