Abstract:
In an optical disk device (1), the generation of noises can be avoided even when a pressure or any other stress is applied to the wall of the housing (50) of the optical disk device, and the wall of the housing is caused to come into contact with a disk retaining assembly (11) of the optical disk device that may be rotating. A shaft (32) projecting centrally from the optical disk retaining assembly and the opposing wall of the housing is provided with a spherical tip (32a) at a free end thereof.
Abstract:
A wiring board of the present invention has a terminal section and a wiring section connected to the terminal section. The terminal section is configured so as to have a plurality of long connection terminals placed at predetermined intervals along a direction orthogonal to a direction in which the wiring board is to be inserted; and short connection terminals arranged between adjacent long connection terminals so as to be located behind the respective long connection terminals with respect to the direction of insertion. At least one adjacent pair consisting of a long connection terminal and a short connection terminal is short-circuited, and the length of the thus-short-circuited short connection terminal is made shorter than non-short-circuit short connection terminals.
Abstract:
An actuator operation amount setting unit prepares the rotational speed command value for an electric motor such that the phase of an intake valve changes in accordance with the target phase. An electric-motor EDU controls the motor supply electric power such that the electric motor operates in accordance with the rotational speed command value. An overheating determination unit determines whether at least one of the electric motor and the electric-motor EDU needs to be restricted from heating up based on a result of comparison between the information indicating the motor supply electric power and the reference value. A rotational speed command value restriction unit restricts the rotational speed command value provided to the electric-motor EDU to a value within a predetermined range, when it is determined that the at least one of the electric motor and the electric-motor EDU needs to be restricted from heating up. A reference value setting unit variably sets the reference value based on the rotational speed of the electric motor.
Abstract:
When an engine is at starting or at cold state, a closing time of an exhaust valve is set before an intake top dead center to close the exhaust valve early. An exhaust residual gas is compressed by a cylinder to raise an inner cylinder temperature. A pre-fuel injection is performed from a time of closing the exhaust valve to a time of the intake top dead center in such a manner that the pre-injected fuel is combusted to raise the inner cylinder temperature. This increase in temperature expedites an atomization of fuel injected at a main fuel injection. A wet amount of fuel is reduced and HC emission is also reduced.
