An itinerary proposal system includes: an accumulation unit that systematizes and accumulates itinerary samples, each of which includes a plurality of travel contents, on the basis of relevance of the travel contents; an extraction unit that searches for and extracts the itinerary sample that matches an inputted condition, from the systematized and accumulated itinerary samples; and a presentation unit that presents the extracted itinerary sample as a proposed itinerary. According to such an itinerary proposal system, it is possible to appropriately propose an itinerary that matches a traveler's condition.

A soil condition estimation apparatus 1 includes a selection unit 2 that, by using a propagation time that vibrations take to propagate through a soil, selects vibrations measured from the soil, according the depth of the soil; an extraction unit 3 that extracts a feature of the selected vibrations; and an estimation unit 4 that estimates conditions of the soil by referencing soil estimation information in which the feature and conditions of the soil are associated with each other, using the feature.

Disclosed is an information processing device that executes a simulation with high accuracy. The information processing device calculates a prediction value reflecting uncertainty of the mathematical model on basis of first-parameters values assumed to be constant at grid points generated by discretizing a calculation domain of the simulation, second-parameters values assumed to be inconstant, and given data; iteratively updates the prediction values and the second-parameters values to improve a degree of consistency between the prediction values and observation values reflecting uncertainty; and iteratively updates the first-parameters value and controls update processing of the prediction values and the second-parameters.

Information regarding moving bodies (00) that are in danger of colliding is collected at an appropriate frequency in accordance with the degree of danger. This information-collecting device has a risk calculation means and a transmission-interval determination means. The risk calculation means receives, from a plurality of moving bodies, state information that includes locations and velocities and is transmitted at provided time intervals. The risk calculation means also computes the distance between and relative velocities of two moving bodies. The transmission-interval determination means computes an interval such that the higher the relative velocities of two moving bodies are relative to the distance therebetween, the shorter the interval is, and provides the computed interval to said moving bodies.
