Abstract: Many different types of systems are utilized or tasks are performed in a marine environment. The present invention provides various configurations of unmanned vehicles, or drones, that can be operated and/or controlled for such systems or tasks. One or more unmanned vehicles can be integrated with a dedicated marine electronic device of a marine vessel for autonomous control and operation. Additionally or alternatively, the unmanned vehicle can be manually remote operated during use in the marine environment. Such unmanned vehicles can be utilized in many different marine environment systems or tasks, including, for example, navigation, sonar, radar, search and rescue, video streaming, alert functionality, among many others. However, as contemplated by the present invention, the marine environment provides many unique challenges that may be accounted for with operation and control of an unmanned vehicle.

Abstract: Various implementations described herein are directed to a non-transitory computer readable medium having stored thereon computer-executable instructions which, when executed by a computer, may cause the computer to display a first page having a first set of marine vessel data. The first set of marine vessel data includes a full size tachometer. The computer may receive a request to display a second page. The computer may also display a second page having a second set of marine vessel data. The second set of marine vessel data includes a reduced size tachometer.

Abstract: Described herein are implementations of various technologies for an apparatus and method for displaying marine electronics data. In one implementation, non-transitory computer-readable medium has stored thereon computer-executable instructions. When the computer-executable instructions are executed by a computer, the computer-executable instructions cause the computer to perform various actions. In one implementation, the computer-executable instructions can cause the computer to display in a first window a plurality of options for adjusting one or more settings of marine electronics data. The computer can display in a second window a plurality of parameters associated with at least one of the plurality of options. When the computer receives a selection of one of the plurality of options that is different from the at least one of the plurality of options, the computer replaces the plurality of parameters associated with the at least one of the plurality of options displayed in the second window with a plurality of parameters associated with the selection.

Abstract: Accessing a marine electronics data menu. A non-transitory computer-readable medium may store a plurality of computer-executable instructions which, when executed by a computer, cause the computer to display marine electronics data on a touch screen on a multi function display unit, receive a display request to display a marine electronics data menu that is generally hidden from the touch screen, and display the marine electronics data menu on the touch screen in response to the display request by moving the marine electronics data menu across the touch screen in a first direction.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention seek to provide an accurate way to measure the length of a fish. Some embodiments of the present invention propose utilizing a known length of a marker within a camera view or picture to determine the length of the fish also shown in the same camera view or picture. This determination could be performed in real-time or later remotely. Further, the measurement of the length of the fish is reliable because it is not dependent on a zoom value or angle of the camera and there is no required measurement device. Further, the technique is easy to use and can be performed with a camera phone or tablet.
