    Abstract: An embodiment of the present invention is an imaging system in which a camera unit and a control unit are connected by a video signal transmission line and a clock line, and the camera unit and the control unit operate in synchronization with each other by a horizontal synchronization signal and a vertical synchronization signal indicating reading timing of the video signal. The camera unit includes a signal analysis circuit configured to encode information superimposed on a master clock, and encode a register control signal superimposed on the master clock using a camera clock based on timing of the horizontal synchronization signal or the vertical synchronization signal, and write an imaging condition indicated by the register control signal to a register.

    Abstract: A solid-state imaging device includes: a first substrate having first photoelectric converters; a second substrate having second photoelectric converters and laminated on the first substrate; micro lenses disposed on an opposite face facing an imaging lens among faces of the second substrate and which forms an image of light passing through the imaging lens; and a light shielding layer disposed between the first and second photoelectric converters. The light shielding layer includes: a selection portion provided with an opening portion which selectively allows passage of only light passing through a partial region of a pupil region in an exit pupil of the imaging lens among light passing through the micro lens and transmitted through the second photoelectric converter; and a light shielding portion which shields an entire light passing through the micro lens and transmitted through the second photoelectric converter.

    Abstract: An endoscope device includes a light source which generates visible light and excitation light, an imaging unit, an arithmetic unit which generates a visible light image signal according to a first signal and a fluorescence image signal according to a second signal and a third signal, and a switching unit. The imaging unit includes an excitation light, cut filter, a first image sensor, and a second image sensor. The excitation light cut filter transmits the visible light and fluorescence, and filters out the excitation light. A plurality of first photodiodes included in the first image sensor generate the first signal according to the visible light and a second signal according to the fluorescence. A plurality of second photodiodes included in the second image sensor generate the third signal according to the fluorescence transmitted through the plurality of first photodiodes.

    Abstract: An endoscope system may include: an insertion section that is inserted into an object under examination, having an image capturing unit that successively outputs a pixel signal of a strength responsive to the amount of light of the pixel, and a time converter that converts the intensity of the pixel signal to time information representing a time interval by a time width and that transmits the converted time information; a transfer section that guides the outside of the object under examination the time information transmitted from the time converter; and an external apparatus positioned outside the object under examination, having a time interval converter that receives the time information guided by the transfer section and converts to a digital signal and outputs the intensity of the pixel signal represented by the received time information and an image processing unit that outputs an image responsive to the pixel signal.

    Abstract: An imaging system includes: a solid-state imaging device that transmits an imaging signal of a continuous image that has been captured; and a control device that processes the imaging signal transmitted from the solid-state imaging device, and to control an operation of the solid-state imaging device. The solid-state imaging device includes: a pixel unit that acquires the imaging signal; a register that stores a setting value that defines the operation of the solid-state imaging device; a processing circuit that converts the imaging signal into a digital imaging signal; a frame configuration circuit that generates a serial digital transmission signal that is acquired by embedding a synchronizing signal synchronized with a horizontal synchronizing signal of the captured image in the digital imaging signal as a first serial clock signal; and a data transmission unit that transmits data of the digital transmission signal.

    Abstract: An infrared fluorescence observation device includes a light source configured to irradiate visible light and excitation light including a longer wavelength band than the visible light, an imaging unit on which generates a first image on the basis of second light obtained by attenuating a wavelength band including the excitation light from first light emitted from the subject irradiated with at least the excitation light and generates a second image on the basis of third light obtained by eliminating only the wavelength band of the fluorescence including a longer wavelength band than the excitation light from the second light, and a signal processing unit generates a third image according to light of a wavelength band including the fluorescence using the first image and the second image.
