Abstract: Systems and methods for monitoring acute:chronic workload ratio (ACWR) are described. An indicator of workload is received from a device worn or carried by a user. An acute workload is determined for the user based on the received indicator of workload over a first period of time. A chronic workload is determined for the user based on the received indicator of workload over a second period of time, where the first period of time is shorter than the second period of time. A current ACWR is determined for the user based on the acute workload and the chronic workload.

Abstract: The invention relates to a wearable device for determining a nature of motion and/or a physiological state of a wearer. The wearable device comprises a body portion configured to be worn by the wearer and at least one sensor mounted to the body portion configured to, while the wearable device is being worn, detect a motion parameter of the wearer and/or a physiological parameter of the wearer and generate input data indicative of the motion parameter and/or the physiological parameter. The wearable device further comprises a processor configured to receive the input data from the at least one sensor and process the input data by executing an algorithm to determine the nature of motion and/or the physiological state of the wearer while the wearable device is being worn. The invention further relates to a system for determining a nature of motion and/or a physiological state of a wearer.

Abstract: The invention generally relates to clinical monitoring of patient data. Embodiments provide a system comprising a processor for performing a method and/or computer-implemented method. In certain embodiments the method determines an intervention recommendation for a patient and may comprise analysing patient need data and intervention data to determine the intervention recommendation. In other embodiments, the method monitors, and/or facilitates monitoring of, the monitoring of a patient. The method may comprise receiving providing patient data to a monitor via a user interface on a computing device, monitoring activity and/or one or more actions of the monitor on the user interface, analysing monitoring data, and effecting an action based on the analysis of the monitoring data and/or generating a notification suggesting an action and sending the notification to the monitor based on the analysis of the monitoring data.
