Abstract:
A computer-implemented system and method for real-time feedback collection and analysis is provided. A location of a patient associated with an RFID tag is monitored. A space occupied by the patient is determined based on the location and one or more prompts for feedback are identified based on the occupied space. At least one of the prompts is provided to the patient. Feedback is received from the patient in response to the prompt. The received feedback is analyzed.
Abstract:
A passive sensor tag system including a passive electronic sensor tag and an external readout. The passive electronic sensor tag including a sensor element configured to sense data in a local environment and to cause a shift in a fundamental electrical resonance frequency characteristic of a sensor circuit based on the sensed data. The external readout including an external readout circuit that is configured to generate a signal having a frequency and a voltage and to transmit the signal through an output antenna. The transmitted signal coupling the sensor circuit and the external readout circuit. The external readout determining a fundamental electrical resonance frequency characteristic of the sensor circuit based on the impedance of the coupled sensor circuit and external readout circuit. The external readout determining the sensed data based the fundamental electrical resonance frequency characteristic of the sensor circuit.

Abstract:
Devices, systems, and methods for delivering fluid are provided. Devices include a housing configured for intravaginal deployment and retention, at least one reservoir configured to contain a fluid, and a fluid dispensing mechanism configured to dispense the fluid past the cervix and to the uterus of the subject. Methods include intravaginally deploying and retaining a device in the subject, and dispensing the fluid from the device such that the fluid is driven past the cervix to the uterus of the subject.
Abstract:
A computer-implemented system and method for entity tracking and identification is provided. A tracker associated with an entity is tracked. Communication is continuously attempted between the tracker and a tracking device associated with an individual in custody of the entity. During one of the attempted communications, an absence of the tracker is determined by identifying a time of the attempted communication and applying a time threshold to the time for the attempted communication. The absence of the tracker is identified when no communication has been established with the tracking device within the time threshold. The entity is classified as missing when the absence of the tracker is determined.
Abstract:
An electronic test plate includes a test plate comprising plurality of wells, each well configured to contain a substance to be analyzed. Sensors are arranged to sense characteristics of the substance and to generate sensor signals based on the sensed characteristics over time. The sensors are arranged so that multiple sensors are associated with each well. At least one sensor of the multiple sensors senses a characteristic of the substance that is different from a characteristic sensed by another sensor of the multiple sensors. Sensor select circuitry is arranged on a backplane disposed along the test plate. The sensor select circuitry is coupled to the sensors and enable the sensor signals of selected sensors to be accessed at a data output of the backplane.
Abstract:
An elapsed timer device includes a timer element comprising a timer chamber, a timer chamber conditioning material disposed within the timer chamber, and a sensor arranged to sense a timer chemical within the timer chamber. The sensor indicates elapsed time in response to a threshold level of the chemical being present within the timer chamber. The timer chamber, timer chemical adsorption/desorption characteristics of the timer chamber conditioning material, and the sensor are configured so that an amount of the timer chemical within the timer chamber reaches the threshold level within a predetermined time after initialization of the timer element.
Abstract:
A computer-implemented system and method for real-time feedback collection and analysis is provided. An event related to a patient is identified during the patient's visit to a medical care facility. A prompt soliciting feedback is triggered upon identification of the event and the prompt is provided to the patient with at least one inquiry regarding the event. Feedback regarding the event is provided by the patient during the patient's visit to the medical care facility in response to the prompt. The feedback is analyzed and a recommendation for intervention of the patient's care is provided during the patient's visit to the medical care facility based on the feedback analysis.
Abstract:
A light emitting diode (LED) light bulb includes a thermally conductive base and at least one LED assembly disposed on and thermally coupled to a surface of the base. The LED assembly includes at least one LED configured to generate light. A thermal optical diffuser defines an interior volume and the LED is arranged to emit light into the interior volume and through the thermal optical diffuser. The thermal optical diffuser is disposed on the surface of the base and extends from the base to a terminus on the light emitting side. The thermal optical diffuser is configured to include one or more openings that allow convective air flow between the interior volume of the thermal optical diffuser and ambient environment.
