In the automatic sound field correcting device, a plurality of audio signals to be reproduced by a plurality of speakers are input, and the signal processing is applied on the corresponding signal transmission paths. The measurement signal is supplied for the respective signal transmission paths, and output by the corresponding speakers. The sound of the output measurement signal is collected and the detection signal of the collected sound is generated. The equalizer gain values are determined based on the detection signals. By determining the identical equalizer gain values for the plural signal transmission paths for which the phases of the audio signals are to be matched, the phases of the signals on those signal transmission paths are matched, and the strange auditory feeling due to the phase mismatch can be reduced.

The present invention is provided with an input device for inputting connection information between information processing equipment and information reproduction equipment connected to the information processing equipment, a storage device for storing the connection information and an output device for outputting the connection information; and a control unit having a recognition device for recognizing the connection between the information processing equipment and the information reproduction equipment connected to the information processing equipment, based on the connection information output from the remote control operating unit.

By the speaker detecting device, the test signal is supplied to the output terminal to which the speaker is to be connected. If a speaker is connected to the output terminal, the test sound is output via the speaker. If no speaker is connected to the output terminal, no test sound is output. The test sound detecting unit detects the test sound in the acoustic space and compares the signal level of the test sound with the predetermined threshold level, thereby to judge whether or not a speaker is connected to the output terminal.
Abstract:
An automatic sound field correcting device applies signal processing onto audio signals of plural channels and outputs processed audio signals to corresponding plural speakers. The automatic sound field correcting device includes: a noise measuring unit for measuring environmental noise level; a signal level determining unit for determining a measurement signal level based on the environmental noise level; and a correcting unit for outputting a measurement signal having the determined measurement signal level to perform automatic sound field correction.
