Abstract: A display control device generates a display image including an image obtained by reducing a predetermined range in a captured image based on an image captured by an image capturing device, and causes the display device to display the display image. In an adjustment mode, the display control device generates a computer graphics (CG) for allowing a user to set a range included in the display image and causes the display device to display the computer graphics. The CG indicates a range displayed in a reduced state and a range displayed without being reduced in a range included in the display image in different aspects.

Abstract: A vehicle display control device is configured to perform operations including: performing processing for hindering visual recognition of an occupant of a vehicle on a captured image captured by an image-capturing device; generating a display image; acquiring information indicating a state of the vehicle and information regarding a surrounding environment of the vehicle; and determining whether the vehicle is in a first condition. In a case where it is determined that the vehicle is in the first condition, a display image obtained by prohibiting application of the processing to the captured image or by reducing an application degree of the processing is generated, and is displayed by the display device.

Abstract: A driving support apparatus according to the present disclosure includes a memory and a hardware processor coupled to the memory and a sound wave sensor. The hardware processor is configured to select, as a transmission and reception scheme, either a pulse scheme or a spread spectrum modulation scheme, and control the sound wave sensor with the selected transmission and reception scheme. When the spread spectrum modulation scheme is selected as the transmission and reception scheme, the hardware processor causes the sound wave sensor to successively transmit and receive sound waves by using the spread spectrum modulation scheme.

Abstract: A display control device is installed in a vehicle and causes to display a video of an area around the vehicle from an imaging device to be displayed on a display device. An acquirer acquires a first video serving as a processing target from the imaging device. A receiver receives an instruction to move an extraction range for extracting at least a part of the first video acquired by the acquirer. An output unit outputs a second video extracted in the extraction range moved in accordance with the instruction received by the receiver to the display device. When the extraction range moved in accordance with the instruction received by the receiver reaches an end portion of the first video, the output unit gives a notification indicating the reaching.

Abstract: A visual field support image generation device for generating a visual field support image of a vehicle has a camera that captures an image from the vehicle and a processing section. The processing section covers the image captured by the camera to generate the visual filed support image. The image is covered by compressing the captured image so that a compression ratio of the captured image in a horizontal direction becomes higher than a compression ratio of the captured image in a vertical direction by using a depth vanishing point included in the captured image as the center.

Abstract: A driving assistance apparatus is provided in which the detection range of a left-front-corner sonar (12a) located at the vehicle's left front corner is included in the field of view of a second imaging means (14) located at the vehicle's left front corner. When the left-front-corner sonar (12a) detects a three-dimensional object at the vehicle's left front corner, an image processing means (3) synthesizes an image of the image created using a second imaging means (14) and the images created with four cameras (7a-7d) for imaging the complete periphery of the vehicle, and creates a bird's-eye-view image (40b). The detection range of the left-front-corner sonar (12a) is included within a region of the bird's-eye image (40b) on the basis of the image created with the second imaging means (14).
