Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to devices, wireless communication apparatuses, methods, and circuitry implementing a low noise amplifier (LNA) with phase-shifting circuitry to achieve a continuous phase at the output of the LNA. One aspect is an amplifier including a high gain active path comprising active circuitry, and a low gain path comprising passive circuitry and phase-shifting circuitry. In one or more aspects, the phase-shifting circuitry is configured to shift a phase of an input signal within the low gain path such that the phase of an output signal outputted from the low gain path approximately matches a phase of an output signal outputted from the high gain active path. In at least one aspect, a gain of the high gain active path is higher than a gain of the low gain passive path.

Abstract: A wideband amplifier includes an input matching network for matching a transconductor stage to an input impedance and includes an output matching network for matching the transconductor stage to an output impedance. Both the input and output matching networks each includes a parallel LC tank circuit arranged in parallel with a series LC tank circuit. The tank circuit arrangements configure the input and output matching networks to be resonant at a first frequency, a midrange frequency that is greater than the first frequency, and a second frequency that is greater than the midrange frequency to provide wideband matching.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to a multi-output amplifier implemented using a capacitive attenuator. For example, the multi-output amplifier generally includes a first capacitive attenuator coupled to an input node of the multi-output amplifier. In certain aspects, the multi-output amplifier also includes a first amplification stage having an input coupled to a tap node of the first capacitive attenuator and an output coupled to a first output node of the multi-output amplifier, and a second amplification stage having an output coupled to a second output node of the multi-output amplifier. For certain aspects, the multi-output amplifier includes a second capacitive attenuator coupled to the input node of the multi-output amplifier, and the second amplification stage may have an input coupled to a tap node of the second capacitive attenuator.
